It's interesting to watch how your work can degrade over a 24 hour drawing period. Or improve in some cases. ^^
I took part in a local (okay a 50 mile drive away but still close enough) 24 hour sketchbook jam down in MA (US) where a friend lives. We started at 9AM Saturday and went until 9AM Sunday. Being in a small room with about 12 artists at first and dwindling to about 5 die hards by Sunday morning. 3 were still awake then.
I can't draw well. My work is sometimes just a rough sketch and doesn't look the way I wanted it to. Well around 3AM I had something I actually liked after 45 minutes of working on one frame. I think I lost it after someone complained their iPOD's batter died and mentioned something about MiniDiscs and why the player's single AA battery should have died first.
5am rolled around and the comic store we were at opened early, the owner brought us some much needed caffine and we had a little energy boost for a bit. 9AM finally came and some of us had finished 24 pages, I managed about 16 pages.
The result?
Don't ask. ^^'
