Tahts what i thought! I thought the usb might connect somehow to the front port like the GC does... Can i convert a mem card to a usb one? Thats probably far to extreme... :bandit:

no because the connector to the usb cord is built into the card's little board thingy *cant remember the name for it* and yes i have taken mine apart

Are you sure about that Vash? There is a way to back up saves from a regular memory card, but it requires the use of ctr-gcs and PSO loader (which can be used to cheat, but require you to actually go out and find the hacks/cheats to use with them, so no uber legits will accidentally cheat).

This method requires you to have your GC linked to your PC via a crossover cable, and then is done in using some DOS prompts and changing your PC TCP/IP settings.

As this method can be used to then hack/cheat, I will not be posting it, but thought it would be wise to bring it to your attention.

Like Vash said, USB cards are certainly not cheating devices. They are simply for people who want to back up their saves, such as yourself.
