it depends on how much your willing to spend......I'd say don't buy it if you'd rather till 2005 for Xbox 2 to come out before spending money on a new Xbox.

U can mod a xbox and therefore get FREE GAMES Tongue
U cant mod GC(not yet) or XBOX 2

So for the free games i advice u to buy xbox Tongue

Do not, and I repeat, Do not buy Xbox or any other system at this point. All the systems have way to many games out to be able to enjoy them fully imo. I personally like to get a system on or near its launch date so that I can follow the games when they come out instead of trying to muster enough money to buy them all later. Plus, all the next-gen consoles are going to be announced and/or released soon so its best you stock pile your money and dig in for the winter Tongue, you'll be glad you did.
