I think Xelha sounds acceptable, but muffles her words too much.

Savyna sounds she is reading very carefully from a script. I mean, when you are about to drap an iceberg on someone's head, you don't mutter something that sounds like "I'd like to get you to stay dead." You scream a war cry at the top of your voice. I have watched the clip tons of times, and I still don't understand what she says half the time.

Kalas sounds like a surfer.

And where the hell are Lyude's wings?

I think they changed the Japanese attack names too much. Here are some that should have stayed the same.

Jap Eng
Twinkle of Destiny Sparkle of Life
Mountain Air Blue Storm
Flash of Soul Soul Flash
Shadow Feathers Shadow Wings


That might be weird, but names and words are something that is very important to me!

The names of the attacks are still ok in my opinion. But just wait and see what I'm talking about with Xelha's voice...you'll see. Oh and about Lyude, he has no wings because he is from the Empire and those from the Empire no longer grow wings. Instead they make mechanical wings like the one Kalas has. But that aside I think Lyude has the coolest means of attacks. I mean, how can you not like a guy who shoots musical related attacks out of his horn-gun thingy?

You mean I just heard Xelha at her best? Oh dear...

What kind of wings does each chara have? Here is what I think..

Kalas His name is Japanese for crow, I think. Hmm. His seem more like a pigeon's to me.

Xelha
I cannot decide. In one cut scene they have feathers, but hers seem more like a butterfly's.

Savyna
Hers look like a Ho-Oh's.

Gibari
Erm. No clue.

Yeah Kalas is definately a crow, Xelha is a butterfly (or whatnot), Savyna has a peacock tail, Gibari has pointy, ummmm...(I really cant tell)...and Lyude and Mizuti have no wings (although Mizuti is always floating...)

The goofy thing is that barely any enemies have wings...(I guess they dont need the flashy backwear) But I do have to say that the villians definately have more character to them then half of the main characters combined. But I'm always the type that ends up rooting for the bad guy.

Out of all the attacks you have seen, which is your fave?

Oooh, I love Soul Flash! Dance of Light is pretty nice too. Sparkle of Life is kind of ugly, except when you see Meemai bounce along Xelha's arm, and bounce off the foe. That just makes me smile.

Most of Xelha's attacks are pretty dull, Kalas has some neat effects but as I stated earlier Lyude's attacks are my favorite. Especially Concerto, its has a cool arc of light that blasts out of his gun.

I love how Concerto looks. Lyude has the coolest attacks in my opinion. Sforzondo he go totally haywire and beats the shit out of the enemy. Kalas has like a Pigeons wing. Xelha has more of a fairy's wing. Gibari has like fish wings(guess cause hes from a fishing village) and savyna has a peacock tail spread. Do you all think Trill looks like she has buck teeth? She looks like that to me; and yes the intro at the beginnig of the game is cheesy and the voice acting (especially Xelha) is horrible! And the song that the Great Mizuti is singing what were they thinking!But the battle system OMFG is it awesome. It so challenging to utilize effectively whether you want a bigger damage bonus through straights or guarenteed lower damage bonus but gurenteed pairs. If for nothing else get the game for the combat.
