Its just a rumor that Ive heard going around and I need to know if its true or not.
Ive heard that Nintendo are going to bring out there own policy to say that no company who make online games can charge the user to play online. Meaning that we could play online games for no fee whenever we want

!!
Does any one know if this is true or not? If you do or have any views on it just post here.

I doubt it very much. The companies won't make any money from making online games, unless they are paid for by us in some way.
On the DC, we didn't have to pay for PSO version 1. But SEGA had a deal with BT in place so I think SEGA got some money that way. Not sure.
If comapnies don't make money from something then they won't do it. Unless it is the big companies that can take risks.

I'm pretty skint atm but the 5 quid a month thing for pso aint too bad. If any other decent online games come out that i wanna play i can't see myself being able to afford em though.
I hope it's true but because nintendo don't provide the infastructure to support online games it's up to the actual games publishers to run their own servers, so i guess they can charge what they want

O...yeh I need to ask you something. Ive heard the only way to connect up your Gamecube to the internet is through an Ethernet Port. Is there another way to connect it up?

All Blizzards online games are free of charge... but they sell their games by the damn truckload, Warcraft 3 for example was the fastest selling game ever! I guess they can afford to have servers and not charge anyone due to the sheer masses of games they sell...

I DIDNT have an ethernet port on the back of my ADSL modem, but thats not a problem.
The Broadband Adaptor is really just a LAN (local area network) card in a funny shaped box. Just like you use to network 2 pcs. So its fairly easy to setup, provided you can find the lan details. I already have the lan setup, so I just switched the cable.

I've got the money already ording the BBA and Datel Keyboard. The only problem is getting the money for the Ethernet Cable now. I'm buying an electric guitar at the weekend and its going to cost around £200 (theres all my birthday money down the drain). I'll have to see if I could lend the money from my mum or somethin.
