You can get by without one, and I have for a while, but you need one for saying things longer than 'Ok' or 'Yes', otherwise it will take so long that the conversation has moved on and what you said won't make any sense any more. I, myself am hoping to get one fore Christmas. Did that help?

i suppose but considerin my gamecube was only £40 it is expensive plus £6 a month for the hunters license

I suppose, but it's worth it in my opinion. Also, sadly, all I buy is stuff for my gamecube, games etc.
