Ranking of Easiest to Hardest:

Ranger
Hunter
Force

Rangers have the ability to shoot everything from far away... Forces have low HP, and Hunters are inbetween.

RAcast (Android Ranger) has more ATP, so he can deal more damage, and RAmar has more ATA, so he's more accurate and can equip better guns faster. Also, he has the added ability of being able to use techniques.

That is your opinion.

ST themselves rank Hunters as "for beginners" and Rangers "for intermediate players".
Which I think is more appropriate, Rangers are easy to start with, but require lotsa skill to play well with, even more than Forces.

As for a choice of class:
If you want power, etc. HUcast
If you want techs, HUnewearl

The other two are useless in comparison.

To be honest everyone is different but most people have more than one character anyway. I have a tank of a hunter and a force which means the game can a totally different experience depending on who you play as. Forces are hard at lower levels but can pretty much kick ass with a team or at high levels. Hunters are great starting characters as its simple hack and slash. Rangers are pretty much the same earlier on except for the range but at higher levels you may regret picking a character just on how easy it is to start.

I'm a HUcast and my friend has a pretty stong force. I would have to say that at later levels it gets easier to use forces....except the FOmar which is the worst character in the game to me. Forces jack anything up at later levels and nothing can barely get close enough to hurt them. They kick butt.

i started off with a HUmar but the pure hack and slash got boreing, realy all you do is hack slash hack heal... over and over again, so i made a melee FOmar, and well lets just say it isnt boreing
