Thoughts on final boss

I'm talking about the great shadow at the end of the Arks campain. I want to know how you dealt with it & how you found it.

Personally I beat it on my first try using a deck that consisted of 3 chaos sorcerors & 3 Dubchichs. Its meteor shower power was useless against a dubchich & hurt all the monsters he placed down. I used gibarta & some dice +1 cards to freeze them when i needed & basically just teched the stuffing out of him.

So altogether a disapointingly easy final boss when compared with some that I have seen. What do you lot reckon?

I found it more difficult than Pollux. Of course, I was in JP and didn't know when it got below certain HP it regenerated. I always wondered why that happened -.-;;;;

I never saw it regenerate, i destroyed the last 15 health in one go using 3 techs, Tech Field, 5 damage from creinu & 14 damage from Chaos Sorceror

it was a push over after pollux... i used the same deck(rufina+gurd creachers and actions) to beat him, i might have been lucky though, for some reason he didnt spawn his stuff near me, always to the other side then they walked around

as for the hp thing i was doing enough damage for it not to matter

I havent seen the last boss of the Arkz, but I have seen Pollux. I got it down to roughly 20HP on my first try, which was cool. (This was on a friends game, not mine)

I havent got to the great shadow yet, but from what imme says its not that hard.

What exactly does the great shaodw do? Does it just place down tons of monsters?

I think it uses a special support card that allows him to place 4 monsters of any cost on the battlefield. That could mean four 7 Point monsters!

unlimited summoning(4 any cost creatures)
hp regain(when ever its hp gets to 5 or less to goes back to 30)
he also has a few action attack cards that are prity strong but i cant remember them

Castor is the one of the coolest bosses I've ever seen, and pretty hard too. But as for the great shadow...blech! Such a lame boss fight. The only thing that caught me off guard was when it brought out a delbiter and a gibbles after one little dimenian. But overall, it was a pushover compared to Castor or Pollux.

LOL! I got to Pollux AND took her down. I got a killer combo of:
Glustar + Sigh of A God + Preta + Any basic Tech = 11 Damage a hit. She wasnt able to block any of the hits, and because I blocked all her attacks (I started hitting her early!), I smashed her in 7 turns in total.
