Broadband modem costs?

hi all.
so iam thinking of going online. I want to get the broadband modem ok.
Is there any site that anyone could give me info about prices of the modem /call cost etc before i ask you this question?

Ok. If i got the broadband modem, i know u have to pay for your HL for PSO etc
do you have to pay for the time you are on the internet? Like on your computer and you have a dial up 56k modem. you have to pay the length you are on the net like a phone call charge.
Same kind of thing with this, do you pay like that, or will it just come under you normal internet broadband charge?

Broadband adapters brand new retail between $35-$40 (U.S.). I f you get a used one off ebay I'd try to stay under $35, but they still are fairly hard to get so don't worry if you have to pay a little extra.

As for the HL fee. Like all other MMORPG's it's a monthly subscription fee of $8.95. Time used has nothing to do with PSO service. The only other fee of course is your monthly internet provider fee, but that's a given.

thanks man Meaning, the GC service is free of charge? Unless you play games like PSO which the only cost is the cost of the HL?

Nintendo charge NOTHING for the online gaming service via. Nintendo Gamecube consoles, as its all done through SEGA regarding PSO. ^_^

I think he's just trying to see whether there will be any hidden fees. As far as I've seen, no. There is none and you are free and clear after the HL.
