Hello,
I have a problem and need help.
I was already corrupted on ep1&2 with an official memory card.
I was playing EP3 yesterday.
When i quitted the game, my game told me that i was corrupted and that my memory card had to be formatted.
I hate this, cause i was already corrupted on ep1&2.
My question is: How can i repair a memory card that needs to be formatted?
(I think this is the same as corruption)
When i accees the memory card screen, it tells me that the memory card needs to be formatted, so i cant delete files or something.
(I dont have a USB memory card)
I cant accept to lose everything again...
Can somebody tell how to fix this?

I'm afraid if it tells you you are corrupted and needs formatting, that's the end of it. You could try deleting your guild card file. Some people say this sometimes works. But I wouldn't hold much hope. Maybe you are turning if off whilst saving? Wait until it goes back to the main screen before you touch reset or power button.

this happened to me at one point on an unofficial memory card, i turned my gc off and next time i went back to it, it was fine, probably just lucky :S

But it telss me that the memory card is corrupted.
I cant acces it in the GC menu.
Any other ways?

If you cant even access it from the GC menu then i dont think theres anything you can do except format it. It happened to me before and i had to start PSO, LOZ:wind waker and harvest moon again, it sucks.

An official memory card doing this? I find that impossible, as this would be the first I heard of one doing a corruption. I kno the unofficial ones corrupt alot, but this, this is new. you couldve been playing one day and a power surge happened. who knows.

I'd break out the flowers and put the data to rest because there's no chance of it coming back if the Guild Card trick doesn't work. Sorry for your loss.

there is nothing u can do but formatt it this happned to my freind sound master luku when i hit eset while it was saving u can olny formatt it and u have to start everything over again im soorry

I had an official Nintendo Memory Card corrupt on me when I first bought PSO 1 & 2. Just because the cards are of the highest quality does not mean they are perfect. Having said that, non-official memory cards have corrupted far more often and thus are no longer purchased for any GameCube games.
