Wow... I am seriously glad they included the tower quests in PSO Plus. I got around to playing the East Tower just now, with my Redria character (EDIT: Should've mentioned, in VHard)... and in one run:
Yamato with 25% A. Beast (Mericarol, 1/46)
Plantain Leaf (Gi Gue, 1/46)
Angry Fist with 5% Machine (Mericus, 1/46)
Of these, the only thing that really interests me is the Plantain Leaf (since I have a Yamato and a God Hand already). Plantain Leaf is a Rod-style weapon, according to PSOW anyway. Combining it with Magic Water makes it a Plantain Fan, right? I don't go online, but I know people who do (so I could get the water if I needed to). What are the benefits to the Leaf and the Fan?

get a fatsia, it's a better plantain leaf that makes a better weapon with the water. the p. leaf makes a p. fan and the fatsia makes a p. huge fan. the p. huge fan is a partisan with an mst requirement while the p. fan is a worse rod.
i think that the special blows enemies backward (for both) so if you get surrounded by enemies you can save yourself.
btw: a magic water costs 16 photon drops

Yeah, I looked at the drop charts... seems if I were Pinkal, I would've gotten a Fatsia instead of the Plantain Leaf. Heh... wonder how weird it would look to see a Ranger using a rod.
Did the West Tower just now... got another Yamato, this one I tekked up to 30% dark and 25% hit. Then I got a Spirit Garment, from a Delbiter I think. That combines with something, I know... but I forgot what. Too bad it has no slots... I may just do more runs to find one with slots.

spirit garment can make two types of frames if you use different things. (brightness circle using star amplifier, aura field with magic rock "moola")
to get addslots, use your redria and pipe nar lillies in temple, normal. they have a 87.5% chance. check psoworld to find out where to pipe for them best

Brightness Circle... that's a popular one, right? What are its good points (besides the glowing circle around you, which I've seen on someone else)?
