A hollow victory? No thanks, I would have rather let my character die.

Die with Honor or Be the Last One Alive?
#1
So a bit ago, I had the chance to kill my opponent, who has a rather high reputation on Phantasy Star 3. To do so, I would have to take advantage of the fact that there were less than 2 minutes left on the clock, stall my turns, and run like a crazy, crazy fool. It would have worked, and there would be no way left for my opponent to win. If I did so, however, it would be a cheese strategy that most people hate. It would be the Hunters version of clogging the field with one point creatures.

This was during the tournament, multiple ranks in the League were at stake. What would you have done?

If it was someone I didn't know (either personally, or through friend) then I would have stayed. If it's someone I knew I would have probably run around (or whatever to win) and laughed and told them.
I personally like/try to fight withh 'honour' but sometimes I don't.

A win is a win by any means. Sure it's "cheesy", but if it wasn't meant to be used as a legitimate strategy Sonic Team wouldn't have incorporated it into the game. Honor is important but don't ever let it hold you back, for then it becomes a burdensome self-doubt.
PSU Character:
Izurei - Level 50 Cast, Rank 10 Ranger/Rank 3 Force (Future Guntecher) - Universe 2 or 15

As the late Justinian said, "The end justifies the means."
