yesterday, i was playing with my fonewearl and i decided to take a quick break and regenerate some tp while i was at it. i came back ten minutes later and found i had barely any more tp and my character was walking in circles, even though the controller hadn't been moved! :S i moved the control stick and the walking stopped, but i put it down again to see what happened and within a minute, my fonewearl started to move again. i checked this and it happens with all of my characters.
i think that my controller may be sending the signal that the stick is being touched even when it isn't. i bought the controller used, but it's Nintendo brand and they make really durable stuff. so does anyone know what might be going on?
by the way, on my N64 i have a Pelican brand controller that sometimes does a downward press on the stick when it's not being used. that's what made me think it could be my GC controller that's acting up

i did that and let the controller sit there for 15 minutes and no movement happened so i assume it's fixed now. thanks alot for that tip, or else i would have had to buy a new controller. thanks again

The thing is first if you had it upside down it effects it. even though not moving (SEE GAMECUBE MANUAL) that or it just over runs like mine did. if you see traces of white stuff under it than clean it but not with water.

NEVER,EVER,EVER,EVER,EVER,
EVER BLOW IN THE CONTROLLER OUTLET OR ANY OPENINGS IN ANY ELECTRONIC DEVICE! This may come as a shock, but when you blow out air, water vapor comes out. This is not a good combination for electronic devices;they use electricity

you should use a clean paper towel or something, BUT NEVER USE WATER! And I was going to suggest recalibrating your controller. Forgot how but I'm sure someone can tell you.

you press start+x+y and hold it for 3 seconds to reset the neutral position, but that didn't work.
and i know not to blow into video game stuff, i always take a piece of thick paper or cardboard and fan it to blow it out, so there's none of that breath vapor to screw it up even more
