Don't you just love this manga? It is my favorite.

I even started saying nothing except "Chi!", in English, except the fact that I had to say my name when they called the register. :'(

Lol. I don't think Chobits is based on D&D. Does any girl actually like Chobits? I got a feeling it's aimed at a male audience.

Someone introduced it to me recently, and since I'd read and liked a fair bit of Card Captor Sakura, which was also created by CLAMP, I decided to give it a try. I read two chapters and stopped because I found the whole idea perverted. So, er, maybe it's good if you looked beyond that and enjoyed the storyline.

Chobits is a great manga and the anime is in my top 10 favorite shows. Sure the idea seems kinda wrong, but even Hideki, the main character, acknowledges how wrong it is to be falling in love with a computer. If you give the story a chance then you see that it develops into something beautiful and fun to see. Plus the comedy in it is just hilarious. (*Points at chair* "Hideki!") And about girls not liking it, it does appear to happen often. One of my friends and his wife watched the show and he loved it but his wife is dead set on the idea that Chi is a "skank". Which isn't true at all, but I guess some girls see the show in a different view than others.

I've read all of them and watched numerous episodes! They are GREAT! And I completely agree withh you, Kisanzi, not exactly a girl's manga, although I know a girl who likes it ^^

No, the person who introduced me to Chobits was a girl. My other female friend thought Chobits was pretty funny.

I was suprised though, I could imagine Chi being drawn by several horny old men, I mean, Chi's on/off switch is her clitoris!!! and was suprised when I read CLAMP was all female. Maybe they are lesbians? Or they secretly dream of deflowering Hideki? My friend was wondering why Hideki was a virgin, she thought he was cute.

My other fave Chobits momento? When Plum is on sceensaver mode!
Still' savin' the screen! Cackle lol! And when Plum crashes! HAHAHA! Though I made whimpering sounds.
