Chapter 6: Search Team: Part 1 -Vehicle tune-Phantasy Star 1-

The group were sailing to Nei 's island. "So Nei , tell me about this island then." Terra asked. "What does it look like?" Nei allowed a small evil grin to form, "Oh, you'll know it when you see it!" Terra stuck her tongue out at her, as she turned around to look at the sea. A small tremor shook the boat, everyone looked up, then got back to what they where doing. Jamie stood up, and shouted to everyone on the ship, "I'm bored! I am going for a swim!" Nei looked confused, "You'd get left behind though..." Jamie grinned, "Nope. DarkMagician taught me this NEW SPELL of his. Let's see..." Jamie made a few symbols in mid-air, "Hasta!" He leapt into the water. Nei sighed, and called out, "Plum....don't say I did not warn you...What!?!" Nei watched aghast, as Jamie swam four times faster than the boat. Snow called up to the driver, "Dale Bert, how fast are we going?" Dale Bert shouted back, "About 10 knots! Why?...WHOA!!! What was that!?! a torpedo!?!" Snow laughed, "No, it's Jamie off on a swim!" Dale Bert came down the stairs, with a disbelieving look on his face. "He used a speed enhancing spell..." Terra said without looking. Dale Bert shrugged, "Maybe we should get him to pull the boat along?" Nei turned around from her observation of the sea. She was about to make a cruel comment, when the whole boat shook again. This time, a lot stronger. "Waaah!" Terra fell over on her face. Dale Bert started laughing, then he fell off the boat, and only just managed to grab the side. "S**T!" He cried. "Grab his hands! Pu-u-ll!" Snow shouted, as they heaved him aboard. "You need to lose some weight, Dale Bert..." Terra huffed. Nei butted in, "Anyway...what was that? It could not be the ship..." Just then, the water next to the ship exploded upwards...

Chapter 7: Magic Team: Part 1 -Overworld tune, 5 characters-PSO3:G.O.D-

They landed outside the Gal De Val Central Control Area, in front of the door. Sakura groaned, "The door is shut...now we have to waste time unlocking it again!" DarkMagician and Ultima locked eyes, and grinned. "Ready?" Ultima shouted. "Yes. and...GO!" DarkMagician replied, as they fired off two Foies simultaneously. The Foies combined in mid-air, and formed a fire-laser. When it hit the door, a clean hole was made, about an inch in diameter. "Ultima?" DarkMagician asked quietly. Ultima nodded, and cast a boosted Shifta on DarkMagician. "Thank you Ultima. HAAIIYEESH!!!" DarkMagician punched the door, right on the hole. It collapsed instantaneously. "Heh, I lose more doors that way..." DarkMagician told the others, while they removed their jaws from the floor. They walked on, and got to the dam. As Duraku stepped onto it, Aeris shouted suddenly, "WAIT!" Duraku leapt backwards, as a giant ball of Megid flew across the dam where he was. "WH-WHAT THE!?!" Duraku screamed, as DarkMagician calmly turned to Aeris. "...How did you know?" Aeris stood there for a moment, and replied timidly, "...I can see the future..." Robin walked over, "Why did you not tell us beforehand?" Aeris looked startled, "I-I did not realise I could. I thought that these were just coincidences..." DarkMagician frowned, "You knew of the dragons?" Aeris shook her head. "I only started getting visions since I left my holiday." Sakura called out, "Hey everyone, I made it!" They all looked. Sakura had passed without any trouble. "Odd...I wonder...Aeris, walk over the bridge..." She nodded, and walked over. Nothing, "Ultima?" Ultima started, and the Megid ball hit him head-on, killing him instantly. "OUCH!" Robin shouted laughing. "Interesting..." DarkMagician muttered to himself, as he cast Reverser. "Right, here's my theory, if a Female crosses, it's fine. If a Male crosses, BANG!" DarkMagician signalled to Ultima, who nodded. "Everyone Teleport!" Ultima and Robin did, but Duraku didn't. "eheh...he cannot teleport...I forgot...Duraku, hold onto my arm." Duraku obeyed, grudgingly. "Here goes!" "Uh...DarkMagician...can you teleport two people?" Duraku asked. "We'll find out!" DarkMagician replied. Duraku flinched. They teleported...

Chapter 8: Attack Team: Part 2 -Medusa's Tower-PS1-

Logan looked at the outline in the smoke, and made out the shape of a large gun. "DU-UCK!" He screamed, dropping to the floor. Everyone lay on the floor, as a hail of bullets swept the room. "What the hell's going on!?!" Giga Bert shouted out, "The Dragon found US!" Logan shouted back. After another minute, the firing stopped. No-one moved, as the Dragon surveyed it's work. Satisfied, it flew off again. "...It's safe..." Sephiroth hissed. Everyone got up. "...That was annoying...it got away..." PETE said, dusting himself down. "Yeah, well, we can get it further up ahead. Come on!" Rhys shouted, striding towards the door. "What about Infinete?" Sleppy asked. "....." "Let's just look for the dragon first, okay?" Sephiroth chipped in. Everyone went silent for a moment. "Let's go!" Rhys called to them, as he ran ahead...

"Aaagh...my back..." Infinete moaned, as he got up. The floor he had landed on was very uneven, and had splintered underneath him, breaking his fall. He looked around. He was in a pitch black room. "Now how did it go again?" Infinete tried to remember, "ah...I know! Flash!" The room lit up. The floor was covered in skeletons and wreckage, "Yaaah! ...Is this what happened to the Pioneer 1 army!?!" a hissing voice replied, "Yes...thiss wass Pioneer onee..." Infinete span, and beheld the Dragon. Infinete was stunned, and did not move as it shot his legs. "AAGH!!!" Infinete screamed, as he gave way and fell to the floor, helpless. "Youu arre no longerr a threatt...I shall destroyy the resst annd returrn forr youu!" It roared, as it trudged off. Infinete thought to himself as he lay there, "Good thing there're a lot of us..."

"Hmm...looks like I went too far ahead..." Rhys thought to himself, as he wandered lost and alone. He stepped through another door, and froze. The Dragon was asleep, in the middle of the floor. "It clearly thought it'd got everyone, and must have wanted a sleep. Bad move!" Rhys thought to himself, as he drew his sword. Then he heard it. A slight moaning from the room in front. Rhys shrugged, "You'll get yours in a moment...let's see..." He thought, as he opened the door...

"It's no use, we have taken a wrong turn AGAIN!" DAN shouted, frustrated. "Calm down. We should retrace our steps. Anyone remember how we got here?" Logan asked. "Naah." "No..." Logan slapped his face. "Nnghh...fine, we will telepipe back to Pioneer 2 and start over!" Everyone agreed. "Bah, Rhys gets to have all the fun..." Sleppy moaned as they took a telepipe...

"Ugh...Rhys?" Infinete asked, as he strained to look up. "What happened to you man? We thought you had died!" Rhys said aghast. "I landed on...some wreckage, which broke my fall. Then the Dragon shot my legs out. I'll bleed to death if I don't get some attention soon!" Infinete started to panic. Rhys pulled out the Final Remedy. "Here, drink a little of this..." Infinete raised an eyebrow, but obeyed him. He gulped down half, and a shocked look appeared on his face. "What the hell is that!?!" Infinete asked, as he leapt up. Rhys whistled, "Looks like DarkMagician wasn't exaggerating..." "DarkMagician made this? Wow!" Infinete stretched. "Let's both sneak up on the Dragon and ambush it!" Rhys whispered, as they both entered the Dragon's room again. "I'll take the head, you take the body." Infinete nodded. They drew their weapons, and got in position. Infinete next to the Dragon, Rhys started climbing the wall next to it. Infinete motioned a vague confusion symbol, Rhys just smirked. They both signalled readiness. Rhys whispered, "3...2...1...NOW!" He shouted, as he leapt off. The Dragon woke, and was stabbed twice in the chest by Infinete. It jerked it's head up, as it roared in pain. Rhys held his sword downwards, as he fell. It embedded itself in the Dragon's neck, spraying claret all over the room. The Dragon gurgled one last time, and fell down, dead. Rhys walked over, wiped his sword clean, and sheathed it. Infinete walked over, looking pleased and impressed. "Nicely done Rhys! What it lacked in subtlety, it made up for in spectacle!" Rhys bowed, and started laughing. "Come on, let's go find the rest!"

Logan and the others burst into the room just then. They were all out of breath, as they'd ran the entire way. Giga Bert was first to recover his breath, "Damn! Too late!" PETE groaned, "We missed out on the fun..." Infinete and Rhys started laughing again. Logan looked up at the Dragon, "Jesus christ!!! What the hell did you do to it!?!? Nuke it!?!" Infinete stepped in, "No. Rhys climbed the wall, jumped down, and stabbed down it's throat. You should've seen it. It was actually rather attractive...like a crimson fountain, HAHAHAH!!!" Logan tried not to show his face, as a brief look of horror appeared. Sephiroth walked over and had a closer look. "Niiiice. Clean down the centre. Aa...anyway, we did what we were meant to, so let's go back to Pioneer 2 and wait." Logan nodded. "Alright, everyone, let's head back!"

Chapter 9: Search Team: Part 2 -Overworld tune-PS2-

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT???" Dale Bert shouted. "I don't know...everyone, be careful!" Snow commanded. It was a giant sea serpent, even taller than a tree. They drew their weapons. "No, wait!" Nei shouted at them. They paused. Nei spoke, "This is the guardian of this island. It will ask a riddle, like a Sphinx. If we are successful, we can proceed. If we fail....." The serpent boomed in a slithering voice. "I am Scylla...guardian of this island. None shall pass, unless they answer my question correctly!" "What is the question?" Terra shouted up. "What is my brother's name?" Dale Bert and Snow looked worried. Nei also looked like she had a problem with the answer. Terra had sat there, quietly for a moment, then, "Hey! I know it!...I think." She called up, "Scylla...your brother's name is...Charbadyss...right?" The serpent roared, and sank into the sea. "I guess I was right." Snow walked up to her, "How did you know that?!" Terra smiled, and stayed silent. Nei and Snow exchanged glances of wonder, while Dale Bert muttered something under his breath, "...Smartar..." "DALE!" Snow shouted. "What?" He asked, weakly. Nei spoke up, "Everyone! We are approaching the shore of my secret island. I have decided...I shall name it...Laya isle!" "...why that?" Snow asked. "...I don't know. It just came to me..." Nei said, shrugging, and then they saw it properly for the first time. It was a small island, with a storm above it, and there were few trees. Only mountains, monoliths and caves. "Welcome to Laya Isle!" Nei shouted out...

Jamie picked himself up off of the sand, muttering. "Bloody sea snake...tossed me just because I didn't know it's stupid brother's name...Now where am I?" He looked around. "Hahahah! Stupid snake! It sent me onto the island! Well, them lot aren't here, so I may as well start searching without them." Jamie walked up to the mainland. As he walked along, he paused. A glint of light had caught his eye. He drew his sword slowly, " Yeeagh!!!" He leapt at the bush, hacking it to pieces. When he finally calmed down, he saw it to be nothing more than a hidden spring. "Oh. Hmm...I AM a little thirsty..." Jamie bent over, and looked closer. "Seems safe enough..." He was about to take a sip when he saw it up ahead. A Bartle face-down on the water. "Waah! What the hell!?! ...Is the water...poisoned?" He screamed, as he leapt up to his feet. "Stuff that! What now?" He looked west. An ancient, incredibly tall tree loomed above all. "If I climb, I could see further...yeah...that's it!" He ran up to the tree and started...

Nei leapt onto the shore, and strode up the beach. Dale Bert smirked, as he did a forward-flip over the railing, and landed on his feet. Snow climbed down, as Terra lifted an eyebrow. "Very nice Dale Bert...but not good enough..." she thought to herself, as she took a run up. Terra called out, "Call that a jump!?! Watch...this!" She ran up, and leapt upwards...

Jamie was half-way up the tree, when he just HAD to look down. "Uhh...this is much taller than I thought...if I fell..." He paused. He didn't WANT to know what would happen if he fell. As he tried to calm down, he heard a scream, and roars of laughter. He looked toward the shore...

As Terra had leapt over the railings of the ship, her foot had just caught them. She tumbled over in mid-air, screaming, and landed head-first on the soft sand. Everyone was in hysterics, even Snow laughed a little at her. They pulled Terra out of the sand, and heard a scream from the mainland...

"AAAAAAHHHH SHIIIIIT!!! I SHOULDN'T HAVE LAUGHED SO MUUUUCH!!!" Jamie screamed, as he plunged toward the ground...

Chapter 10: Magic Team: Part 2 -Battle-PS2-

DarkMagician and Duraku reappeared a moment later, on the cliffs of Gal De Val. "Hmm...a little out..." DarkMagician mused, as he signalled their position by sending a Foie upwards. Sakura, Aeris and Ultima arrived a few seconds later. "About time..." Duraku said to them, grinning. DarkMagician froze. "Hey, hold up! Where did Robin go!?" "....good point..." They looked around, it was quiet. "Ah, stuff it. He will just miss out." Sakura formulated a plan, as DarkMagician walked away. "Right. I think we should walk around quietly and..." A large crashing was heard. They all turned. DarkMagician had rolled a boulder off, and was now shouting, "Here I am! Fight me! Come on! Coward!" Sakura was about to give him a talking to, when two familiar creatures appeared...

"OH...CRAP!" Duraku shouted, as a very large Cyber Dragon, and a Griffon landed. "Well, well...more for the fun." DarkMagician whispered to himself happily. As Aeris and the rest readied their spells, the Hippogriff suddenly headbutted the Cyber Dragon. It roared, and retaliated with an eye-laser. The two beasts duelled ferociously, as everyone took cover. "Aeris!" DarkMagician shouted over the battle. "What is it?" She called back. "Take Duraku and leave! Myself, Sakura and Ultima shall stay here to watch!" Aeris and Duraku looked strangely at him, and Aeris teleported them both back to Pioneer 2. "Hmm...that's that done..." DarkMagician said to himself. "DarkMagician...are you planning a Tri-attack again?" Ultima asked him. DarkMagician grinned, "Heheheheh...yes...are you two in?" Sakura stood up, nodded, and held her arms out. Ultima and DarkMagician followed suit. A burst of magic started to charge up in front of their arms. "Time for something new..." Ultima shouted. Sakura and DarkMagician looked at him, quizzically. Ultima moved his fingers in a pentagram, as he chanted the elements, "Wood...Fire...Earth...Metal...Water..." The magic burst changed to a bright yellow beam. Ultima turned, and nodded to the other two. "HAAAH!" They screamed, as they fired the beam off. It flew at an astonishing speed, through the Hippogriff and Cyber dragon as they fought. They both roared, and collapsed onto each-other. "These are not difficult if you know how..." Sakura told them, as they piped back to Pioneer 2...

Chapter 11: New Plans -Healing-PSO-

"Hi DarkMagician, Ultima, Sakura, Duraku, Aeris. You guys done too?" Logan asked, as they walked in. "Heh." DarkMagician said, as he sat down. "Um...where are the Search Team?" Sakura asked. ".....We don't know....." Rhys said quietly. "No-one has contacted us..." Logan began, but DarkMagician started laughing. "?" "Do not worry everyone! I placed a 'bug' on my sister when I spoke to her earlier. We can telepipe to within 10 metres of her." Sleppy butted in, "But...if we landed in the water..." DarkMagician shrugged. "Let's just go! They may be stuck." He shouted, as he cast Ryuker...

Chapter 12: Search Team: Part 3 -Revolution To The Origin, Part 1-PSO-

DarkMagician landed first, and looked around. He was under a large tree, on this new island. "Interesting..." He said to himself. He looked to his right. Nei , Snow, Dale Bert and Terra were looking down a deep shaft. "Hmmm...." DarkMagician stealthily walked over. He stood next to Nei , and watched. "Jamie fell through this floor...it is a fake patch! What is below!?" Dale Bert said out loud. "JAAAMIIEEE! Are you alive?" Terra shouted down. After a moment, loud groans were heard. "Guess he is. It must not be deep, let's jump in!" Nei commanded. "Yes, lets." DarkMagician said out loud. "YAAAH!!!" Nei leapt up high, and fell in. Everyone looked down, then at DarkMagician. "Eheheh...woops..." He said, shrugging...

After a bit of coaxing, everyone was convinced to come down, and they found themselves in a huge cavern. Jamie was sitting up. "Damn that hurt..." He moaned. DAN whistled. "Where shall we start!?!" DAN cried. Sephiroth stood up from looking over a piece of floor. " Nei ...give me your staff..." She protested. "Just do it!" She reluctantly handed it over. Sephiroth leverred the loose piece of floor, and picked up a long piece of platinum. "I wonder..." He said, attaching it to the top of the staff. It glowed brightly, and Sephiroth thrust it upwards. "Lightning!" Sephiroth shouted, and a lightning bolt flew out of the tip. Everyone looked on, dumbstruck. "At last! I found it! My ancestral staff, Masamune!" Nei broke out of her shock, "Wait...you mean that was YOUR staff!?" He nodded, laughing. "When I was destroyed by Dark Falz, I used my magic to send Masamune to a far-away corner of this planet. Then my own daughter found it for me later...Hahahah! I'd have never thought that THIS was the artefact we needed!" DarkMagician nodded. "Great work! Are there any more pieces?" Sephiroth thought for a moment. "...Yes! Two pieces, one is a golden eye, and the other was...uhh..." Aeris stood in, "The titanium blade!" Sepiroth nodded. "Okay everyone...start searching!" DarkMagician shouted...

Ten minutes later, everyone was still searching, except one... "Aeris...are you having another vision?" She turned, it was Ultima. "Oh, Ultima, you suprised me. Yes...the titanium blade is...overr...THERE!" She shouted, pointing towards a small pool. "Aww...why couldn't it be on the floor? Oh well...thanks Aeris." He ran off, and dived into the pool. Everyone turned at the loud splash, PETE walked over. "Shallower than you thought, huh?" Ultima lifted his bleeding face up, "Yeah...agghh..." PETE reached down, and shouted, "Sephiroth!" He turned, "What is it?" "Think fast!" PETE shouted, hurling the blade at him. Sephiroth span his staff up, and caught it in the slot. DarkMagician and Ryhs looked at each other, and started clapping. "Where is my Golden Eye?" Sephiroth shouted out. "Herre it isss...." A slithering voice shouted, as a large Cyber Dragon landed in the middle...

Chapter 13: Search Team: Part 4 -The Frenzy Wilds-PSO-

"Everyone, distract it, some of you, aid me in retreiving my eye! If we can...we can end this quickly!" Sephiroth shouted, dashing at it. The dragon smirked, as it took a deep breath. "Look out!" Logan shouted. The dragon blew a force bubble at Sephiroth, he dodged it, and Aeris was hit instead. "AAAAHHHH!!!" She flew up high. "Wh-what!?! Aeris!!!" Sephiroth watched, as she hit the high wall hard, and landed after, crumpled on the floor. He ran up to the Dragon, enraged, and tore it's eyesocket out before it could retaliate. He attached the golden eye to Masamune, and sliced at the dragon many times. It roared in pain, while everyone watched, and it finally fell apart in a pool of blood. "Nice work!" DAN shouted, as Sephiroth, DarkMagician and Nei ran over to Aeris. She was critically hurt, even Sephiroth could tell she was dying. He knelt down. "Aeris...not like this..." Aeris whispered to them three, "I saw this coming, I was prepared. Do not mourn my passing. The rest is up to you all now. T-the final dragon...i-is n-now waiting...in...the f-forest...on-on-onl-l-y....." She fell silent. "Aeris? Aeris! AEERIIIIIIIISSSS!!!!!" Sephiroth screamed, as DarkMagician, tears in his eyes, pulled him into the telepipe...

Chapter 14: The Final Plans: A Prelude To Doom -Rhys K.O'ed-PS3:G.O.D-

"....." DarkMagician was silent. So was everyone else. "Ugh...DarkMagician..." Ultima called softly. He didn't move. "I don't think I will last much longer...we had best kill the final dragon soon...gnng..." DarkMagician flinched slightly. Logan stood up. "Let's go everybody. To the Forest...and...our destinies..." Rhys spoke up. "That sounded pretty cool Logan!" "Heh, I know. Sort of thing Mini_Bert would've said...anyway, we'd better hurry...are you all with me?" Everyone nodded. "Off we go!" Logan shouted, striding toward the telepipe. Everyone followed suit, except for two. "....." "...DarkMagician...my old friend...we must go. If we do not, we will all die. At least this way, I can go down fighting..." DarkMagician looked up, "Just like Donoph did...You have guts, even now...Alright, let's go!" DarkMagician and Ultima walked together, into the telepipe...

"So you decided to come, eh old man?" Rhys said smarmily to DarkMagician. "Do you need to be taught ANOTHER lesson, Rhys?" Rhys shook his head slowly. "No, no thanks. You need to be at full strength for this Dragon! I heard them saying it was the most powerful of all!" Ultima coughed, "Sounds like fun...Come on, let's catch up to the rest..."

They all walked along, in groups of five and four, talking about how best to destroy the dragon. After a long walk, they came across a body, slumped bloodied against a tree. Sakura saw it first, "Robin!" Everyone ran up to him. "...Is he...?" PETE asked. "No..." Terra whispered. His left eye was missing and had a fresh scar, and he had burns and cuts all over. ".....urk....." Robin twitched, and started to groan. "He lives!" DAN shouted to all. "Robin, what the hell happened to you!?!" Rhys asked. ".....Him!" Robin said menacingly, looking to his right. Everyone looked. A blue-haired man stood there, smirking, holding his sword on his shoulder. "Who are you? Why did you do this?!?" DarkMagician commanded. The man spoke. "I am Ryu, I was attacked by this, 'human' as I rested." "Robin, is this true?" Terra asked. ".....Yes...but...There is something you must know...Ryu is also...Gaaah!" Robin collapsed, apparently dead from his wounds. "Shit!" Dale Bert cursed. "We are sorry if he attacked you for no reason..." Sakura started. "...Hold up..." Ultima shouted. "Why did you say 'that human'?" Ryu smiled cruelly. Ultima's eyes glistened in recognition, "YOU'RE THE DRAGON! EVERYONE, WATCH OUT! HE CAN CHANGE AT WILL!" Ryu's face scowled, as he started to glow. "What is he doing?" DarkMagician shouted." "Changing I think..." Ultima shouted back. They all drew their weapons, as a bright flash enveloped Ryu...

Chapter 15: The Final Enemy? -You Have Nowhere To Go-PSO-

Ryu had vanished. In his stead, was a large, black, multi-headed dragon. "Tiamat..." Terra snarled. "Let's take him!" Rhys shouted. "HAAAAAH!!!" Sleppy and Jamie shouted, as they both slashed at it's heads. Two heads fell to their strokes, but Tiamat was not through. It breathed at the two idiots in front of it, exposing them to the incredibly searing heat of its Doombreath. Sleppy's robot body was badly charred, as he attempted to retreat. He was lucky, he was a high-quality heat-resistant make. Jamie wasn't. "T-the bastard! He killed Jamie! Everyone...ATTACK!" DAN roared, as he leapt up. Tiamat breathed at him as well, but DAN dodged it somehow, cutting it's third head off. It reverted back to Ryu. "Not yet." Ryu shouted, as he changed again. This time, he was a large Multicoloured Dragon. "Uh...Trigon..." Terra said to herself. Dale Bert, Logan, Giga Bert and Infinete leapt to the attack. It swiped, hitting Dale Bert, knocking him out of the area. It made to bite Infinete, but he leapt onto the head, and stabbed it. It roared, and threw him off, as Dale Bert and Giga Bert started to hack it up. It screeched loudly, deafening them both, and breathed on them. A large blast of Lightning, Fire, and Ice hit them both simultaneously, and they fell to the floor, unconscious. Logan stood there in front of it, alone. It swiped at him, and he leapt up. It tried to bite him, but he stuck his sword in it's head. It roared, as it changed back to Ryu. He looked tired out. "Its...not over...yet. Time for my Final form...Hahahah!!!" He vanished, to be replaced by a golden version of himself. "Well Terra?" DarkMagician asked. "Kaiser, the prince of dragons..." She cried, fearfully...

Chapter 16: The Grim Finale! -Open your Heart-Sonic Adventure 1-

As Ryu stood there, DarkMagician looked around. "Hmm...I make it we have 17 people able to fight remaining. The odds are pretty even..." He thought to himself. "Alright, everyone, attack at the same time, quickly!" He shouted, as he dashed toward Ryu. Ryu stood there, waiting, as everyone ran up to him. He smirked, mumbled, "Idiots!" and cast a spell. "KaiserBreath!" He shouted, as he vanished. "Everyone watch out!" DarkMagician shouted, taking cover. A golden dragon appeared, breathed onto the area, causing an explosion, and flew off again. Ryu reappeared, golden still. DarkMagician got up. Many of his team were too slow, and only six remained conscious, Himself, Rhys, Sakura, Infinete, Ultima and Logan. "Dammit! Everyone, BE CAREFUL! If we fall, we're finished!" He screamed, as he kicked Ryu in the head. Rhys and Logan hit Ryu, as Sakura and Ultima cast spells. Ryu flinched, and then did a new attack. "Aura!" He shouted. A large aura of himself appeared, and punched Ultima. "GRRUUAAGH!" Ultima shouted, as he flew through a tree. "Ultima, NO!" DarkMagician ran over to his side. "D-DarkMagician...finish Ryu off for me...sorry I wasn't much use..." "Don't say that Ultima...you were the best friend I ever had..." Ultima smiled through bloodied teeth. "Really? That's...good...Thank you DarkMagician...I am done...now...Finish...off...Ry-uuu...*" His voice trailed off. DarkMagician sat at his side. Sakura glanced over, "DarkMagician?" He stood up, and turned around, eyes flaring. "Uh-oh, not again!" Infinete shouted, as he hit Ryu. GAAH! I'm hit! I'm hit!" Logan screamed, as Ryu slashed his arm viciously. DarkMagician walked over, slowly, a brilliant aura surrounding him. "RYU!!!" He shouted. Ryu looked at him. "You and me! One-on-one! NOW!" Rhys and the rest backed off. "Alright human, I accept your challenge." DarkMagician walked over slowly, Ryu stood there, then cast another "KaiserBreath!" DarkMagician shielded himself with his aura, but Infinete and Logan were knocked out. Rhys was badly hurt, so he used the last of Final Remedy, and ran up to Ryu. Ryu attacked DarkMagician physically, while Rhys and DarkMagician beat him. It seemed like Rhys and DarkMagician were winning, when Ryu uppercutted Rhys. "AAgh!" Rhys cried, as he sailed in the air. Ryu cast a new spell. "Dark Hole!" It started to suck Rhys in. "Rhys, no!" Sakura shouted. He shouted four words before he vanished, "Kill Ryu for me!"

While the battle was being fought, something strange was happening to Robin, who was close to death, but not beyond it. He could sense they were losing the battle, but all he could do was...nothing. "I...must...get...up..." Robin thought. "....It's no use! I cannot do anything now, except wait for the inevitable..." "You look tired, Robin." A voice inside his head said. "...Adameon?" A vision of Adameon, the Dark Sage appeared in his mind. "Come, son. I do not wish vengeance on DarkMagician anymore. Let me help you defeat the dragon prince." "But...I thought you were dead? I ejected you from my mind..." Adameon laughed. "Robin, I am your father. Loathe as you may be to admit it, you can never forget me." "....." Adameon held out his hand. "Now come, son. Take my hand. Accept your latent powers. Be, REBORN!" Robin reached out slowly, as a bright flash enveloped his mind. He awoke, and saw that only Sakura and DarkMagician were still standing. They, and Ryu, had not noticed him. He pulled himself up, and examined himself. "Yes...this shall work nicely... WATCH OUT RYU!" He thought to himself, as he sneaked over to the prince of dragons...

Sakura ran up to DarkMagician, he turned. "DarkMagician, I think this is it..." She whispered. "Be quiet, of course it isn't..." He said, barely believing himself. "There are only us two left...Ultima has died...DarkMagician...It's over!" She said, crying. He walked back up to Ryu. "Why did you and the others attack us!?! Answer me!!! Why did these brave souls have to suffer!?!" Ryu smirked. "As long as you all lived, Ragol could never belong to us dragons. That, is what this war is all about." DarkMagician frowned, "But it is stupid! Your fellows are dead! Our friends are dead, or injured! All for a planet!?! Why could we not co-exist?" Ryu reverted to normal. "Damn...because, that is the way things are! And nothing will ever change that!" He drew his sword. "DarkMagician!" Sakura screamed. Ryu stabbed DarkMagician in the chest. DarkMagician froze, and looked down at the sword. He looked up at Ryu, and as Ryu took the sword out, he fell to the floor. "NOOOO!!!" Sakura ran up to him crying, as Ryu smiled cruelly. "DarkMagician...it can't be...you can't...die..." She said quietly. "I'm...not...dead...yet...but I cannot move, and I fear this...is the end...Sakura...run!" He said weakly. She shook her head, "No...I will never leave you...not now...not ever..." Ryu looked on, "Pathetic..." He spat. "I thought I would have a challenge, but all I found was a group of old humans..." "Well, perhaps you would face ME, coward!" Ryu and Sakura turned. "...You!?!" Ryu screamed. ".....Robin!?!" Sakura said, shocked. He looked different. His hair was paler, his muscles had grown, and he had a false eye in his left socket. He shook his head. "Not Robin anymore. That part of me died. Adameon helped me, said I had a latent power. Resurgence! I am now, RobDeLaMorte!" DarkMagician started laughing. Ryu was shaking, as realisation dawned upon him, that this human could return to life whenever he wished. "Alright, I will fight you then, RobDeLaMorte." He shouted, drawing his sword. RobDeLaMorte started to laugh at him, as they readied themselves for battle.

Ryu started first, "Aura!" he shouted. An aura of himself double the size, slashed down at RobDeLaMorte, who tried to block with his sword. The sword was utterly shattered, and RobDeLaMorte was hit, carved down the chest. He collapsed onto one knee, as Ryu started laughing. RobDeLaMorte heard Adameon again. This time, his spirit was visible to everybody. "Robin, listen to me. You will lose, if you do not attack. Use your ultimate attack, Hand of the reaper!" "How?" RobDeLaMorte asked. "Just allow me to enter your mind, and help guide you!" "Very well." The spirit entered through RobDeLaMorte. RobDeLaMorte stood up, holding his hands in front of his chest, with a gap between them. "What's this?" Sakura asked. "I...don't know..." DarkMagician panted. Ryu just watched, rooted to the spot. RobDeLaMorte's right hand started glowing darkness, like Megid. "What is this!?!" Ryu screamed. "I cannot move!" RobDeLaMorte pulled his right hand up, and made a grasping notion. Suddenly, a huge skeletal hand, tore out of the dirt, and grabbed Ryu. "AAAAGH!!!" Ryu was screaming. RobDeLaMorte started to laugh. "HAND OF THE REAPER!" He shouted. He then, with hand still grasped, hit the floor with his hand repeatedly, squeezed, and made a tossing motion upwards. Ryu was beaten into the floor repeatedly, crushed, and finally thrown to an incredible height. He was too worn out to morph into a dragon and save himself, so he fell back down with a huge crash, as the hand disappeared. "My...god..." Sakura blurted...

Ryu lay there, in that crater, dying. RobDeLaMorte and Sakura walked over. Ryu said one last comment as he died, "You may have...killed me...but...most of you...are dead...so I still win...and...when...I...die...my body...explodes! So...this is the end...hahahah.....*" RobDeLaMorte ran up to Sakura and knocked her over, "Get down!" He screamed, as the air burned around...

Final Chapter: And The Future... -Episode One Credits-PSO-

The forest was silent. All around, lay the bodies of the fallen. After Ryu's death, all the living ones woke up. Sephiroth, Logan, Giga Bert, PETE, Sleppy, DAN, Infinete, Nei , Dale Bert, Snow, Terra, and Duraku. "Did we...win?" Snow asked. "Look! DarkMagician is hurt!" Terra shouted suddenly. They all ran over...

"Ah...so some of you did survive...that is good..." DarkMagician said quietly, as Sakura held him. "DarkMagician...are you...dying?" Logan asked him slowly. "Yes...I am resigned to my fate...I haven't much time left, so I shall say a few last comments... Give my house, possessions and lands to yourselves. Do not fight over them, share them. That includes Dale Bert, Snow, Duraku and the rest. Also, Logan, take...this..." He handed Logan a jewel. "Woah! What is it?" He asked. "It is one of my tears, worth a fair amount on Pioneer 2..." He replied. "I hid more under the tree on Nei 's island...Laya Isle..." Nei frowned. "How did you know I called it that?" "Hah..ha.hh.a...urgg...not...long...left...I have...one last...message...RobDeLaMorte! Come here!" He walked over. "Take...this..." He whispered, as he handed his purple crystal to him. "I...channeled...my...magic...to...it...use it well...protect Sakura...for...me..." He fell down, onto the floor, gasping. "So...this is the end...I will miss you all...but now I shall be reunited with my friends Mini_Bert and Ultima...Sakura...come closer..." She leant in. "Yes, DarkMagician?" She stuttered. He strained greatly, and kissed her. She started crying again. "There. It is done. I have lived a full life...Albert..." He fell silent. His body started to dissolve to light slowly. Everyone watched silently, as it vanished. Two minutes later, it was gone. "...Well...that's the end..." Logan began. "Yeah...let's go look at what he has left us..." Dale Bert suggested. "Yes, let's. I feel a little weepy." Snow replied. Everyone walked off slowly, depressed. Sakura remained, as did RobDeLaMorte. "Sakura...DarkMagician gave me this..." RobDeLaMorte started, He showed her the crystal. "He said his magic was sealed inside, but I could use it. He also said...to protect you." Sakura looked up. "Yes...that is the sort of thing he would do...But...are you sure he said his magic was trapped inside?" He nodded. "But...his magic...is his soul...that means...!" "Means what?" "If we train hard, and learn how to use the magic, we could...revive him!" RobDeLaMorte thought, then a thin smile spread across his face. "You think it's possible?" "Yes. Maybe that was why he handed it to you. He saw another hidden power in you." "Yes. My power is apparent now. When I died as Robin, I revived myself as RobDeLaMorte. I think I can only do that once though... anyway...." "Let us leave this place..." "So...this is where I say goodbye to my friend." "...My love..." "Come...let us go. I shall place Ryu's sword here, as a gravesite. Lest we ever forget." He pulled Ryu's sword out, and threw it upwards. It landed upright where DarkMagician's head was before. He looked up and shouted, "DarkMagician! You shall never be forgotten!" With that, they left that place...

Epilogue: -Live and Learn-Sonic Adventure 2-

Sakura made a proper gravestone the next day. They all inscribed comments on there. Here are but a few:

"My husband...I write this with mixed emotions. I know you are dead, and I will never get over it, but...If what RobDeLaMorte says is true, then perhaps you can be revived! Maybe this was your plan all along...whatever happens, I shall always stay true..." ---Sakura---

"Well...I guess that makes ME the most powerful of us all...Hahahah! Thank you, DarkMagician." ---PETE---

"This bites.....so many dead....." ---Infinete---

"My son, you are indeed worthy of being my blood. You proved yourself many times. Perhaps it is for the best that Aeris did not see this...But what if she did have a vision? Were you doomed from the start, I wonder?" ---Sephiroth---

"Heh, I hope this marks the end of all battles. I lost my brother long ago, his clone long ago, and now my friend...If we get attacked, do not worry! I shall take over, and protect your friends!" ---Logan---

"I know now that destiny claims us all eventually. We lost many friends over the course of his life. Albert, Mini_Bert, Jamie, Rhys, ROB:type-08, Ultima, Aeris. I even lost my own father to DarkMagician! But I realised that he was not my enemy. I just wish that I had realised my hidden power sooner. I could have saved him perhaps... It's funny, I felt that he was unimportant at first, but I know now how important he was. Without him, I would still be with my father Adameon, and would never have met Terra. DarkMagician gave me much, friends, a love, power...and happiness. Unknown to all others, myself and Sakura are training. When we are powerful enough, we can resurrect DarkMagician. I write this comment at the end of my chronicle of the life of DarkMagician. He lived a full life, and died in glorious battle. He will be honoured forever...untill I resurrect him. So, to whoever reads this, I charge you: Always remember DarkMagician and his friends...and the great adventures they had..." ---RobDeLaMorte---

I am now going to upload my NEW STORY SO FAR! Heheh, Poo Fly is going to kill me...

Notes: This story is what happened years after the fifth one. DarkMagician and RobDeLaMorte are my characters, the rest are not.

Prologue: Many years have passed since the death of DarkMagician, and many of the characters have passed on since. The only ones still alive are RobDeLaMorte as he cannot be killed, V who is actually Pete in a robotic life-support machine, and Logan who is now an old man. After Sakura's death of old age, RobDeLaMorte carried on training, and is almost complete with the revival process, and is in Logan's room updating him...

Chapter 1: The Beginning Of A New Adventure

"So...you say you are nearly complete?" Logan asked slowly. RobDeLaMorte nodded, a thin smile across his face. "Yes...if I can just find this relic, we can finish the process." He held up a picture for Logan to look at, "I see...but, how are we supposed to get hold of the Essence of Dark Falz? I thought IT was destroyed?" "Ah, but it can never truly be killed, and you know it. I reckon that it will have revived itself by now, even though 1000 years have not yet passed." Logan thought for a moment. "Well, we can take care of that later..." "We? What do you mean, we?! Logan, you're an old man! Had you forgotten? Only me and V are able and living. Only we may fight IT!" RobDeLaMorte blurted aghast. Logan looked dismayed, "But I can still..." "Enough! You will not be going! That is that. I take my leave of you." RobDeLaMorte shouted behind, as he left the room. Logan watched him enter the bar, and got up. He walked over to his cabinet, and pulled out his sword. "Heh, I thought he would say something like that...well, I already decided I am going, so nuts to him!" Logan started to laugh, as he teleported down to the Ruins.

Meanwhile, RobDeLaMorte was in the bar, sipping his whisky, thinking how best to tackle Falz, when all of a sudden the room went silent. RobDeLaMorte could sense someone important or famous had come in, but paid no heed. The stranger walked over slowly to him, "Why do you not look, like the rest of these people?" he asked, in a calm voice. RobDeLaMorte carried on staring ahead, drinking. "Because I have much more important work to do, than look at some silly person, like an awestruck sheep..." The stranger thought for a moment. "Well?" RobDeLaMorte asked, "Well what?" the stranger replied. "Bugger off, so I may have a quiet uninterrupted drink!" Gasps emenated from across the bar. The stranger frowned inside his mask, and slowly, stealthily, pulled out a scythe. He swung at RobDeLaMorte's back, but RobDeLaMorte saw his reflection in the bar, span round, and caught the blade between his hands. "That is not very friendly..." He said slowly, as he glared at his opponent. He stood there, tall yet a little stocky in his build. He was a ranger, and he wore a black cloak and a seemingly empty mask. "Who are you?" RobDeLaMorte asked slowly. "Who wants to know?" The cold voice spoke back to him. "RobDeLaMorte, The Undead One!" The mask suddenly glowed red at the eye-pieces. "You...you are the one I have been searching for. I have been hired to slay you!" The stranger said, as he drew his scythe back again. "Aren't you going to tell me your name then? It's common courtesy." RobDeLaMorte replied slowly, while sipping some more beer. The stranger flinched, "...Very well. Though it will not do you any good in a minute...I am the famed assassin Grave!" RobDeLaMorte finished his whisky. "Well Grave, shall we step outside?" They both did so...

Chapter 2: A New Foe

V looked around himself. Twenty-Seven Merlan lay dead on the floor around him. He made a whistle, "Well, that worked well! Who says being 'dead' is a bad thing? Hahahah!" He lifted up his arms to look at them, "Yes...replacing my robotic arms for weapons was a great idea of mine!" He currently had two Agito replicas equipped. As he stood there laughing, he went quiet. Something was approaching, he sensed it. Suddenly, the door behind him opened up...

RobDeLaMorte and Grave stood facing each other outside the bar. "Alright, let us begin!" RobDeLaMorte called, as he drew his sword, Chi Gochisoo. Grave merely nodded, as RobDeLaMorte dashed towards him. "YEEAAAH!" RobDeLaMorte slashed downwards onto Grave's head, but something went wrong. Instead of killing Grave, the sword was deflected, and RobDeLaMorte was shocked by some form of negative energy. He flew backwards, and rose to his feet shakily. "What the hell!?" Grave laughed at him, "Haa-ha-ha-hah! Fool! You cannot defeat me that way!" "Grr..." RobDeLaMorte started to cast, "FOIE!" It hit Grave, and got deflected back at RobDeLaMorte at speed. This time RobDeLaMorte flew into the wall behind himself, hitting his back. He fell onto the floor, straining to get up. "D-dammit..." Grave watched him rise again, albeit much shakier now. He thought to himself, "The fool. He cannot harm me so long as I wear my cloak...He will kill himself for me!" and burst out laughing. RobDeLaMorte stood up, and shook his head. "I haven't much more energy left...I must work it out quickly!" He charged into Grave, knocking him down, and getting shocked again. "GAAAAH!" RobDeLaMorte screamed, as he was repelled again by the force. Grave and him got up again, suddenly it hit him. "That cloak! Every time I attack, it glows...I wonder..." Grave suddenly spoke up. "Well, it has been fun, but the game is over...and it's time for you to die..." RobDeLaMorte grinned a thin smile, as he leapt over Grave's head, and carved through the cloak simultaneously. "WHAT?!" Grave shouted aghast. "My cloak! You shall pay for that!" RobDeLaMorte aimed a swipe at Grave's arm. He drew blood, and was not shocked by the energy this time. Grave said coldly, "So you worked it out eh? No matter, you shall die!" and with that, he launched his attack...

V was horrified, "LOGAN!? What the hell are you doing down here!?!" Logan cursed, and carried on walking through the room. "Logan, stop. You must not go into battle, you're too ol--" He didn't finish the sentance. Logan kicked his legs out from under him, and V tumbled to the floor winded. "Who says I'm too old? Heh..." Logan exclaimed, as he walked on...

Grave and RobDeLaMorte still fought, neither getting the upper hand. They were currently wrestling, and had just tumbled into the pathway, when they knocked over a young Hunewearl. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? YOU KNOCKED ME OVER! MY SHOPPING IS RUINED! AAAAH!!!" Grave and RobDeLaMorte stopped fighting, and looked at her freaking out. She wore a grey dress, with purple trimmings, and had a head of well kept, long pink hair. Her skin was slightly tanned, and rage was apparent in her large green eyes. "YOU IDIOTS!!! TAKE THIS!" She cast Gizonde at them, knocking them both out. When they recovered ten minutes later, she was gone. They looked at each other, shrugged, and laughed.

Chapter 3: Old Warrior Wandering

"So...Who hired you to kill me then?" RobDeLaMorte asked, as himself and Grave walked along Pioneer 2. Grave shook his head. "I cannot reveal employer's details...contract honouring and all that...at any rate, it was done without a meeting, I received a BEE two days ago asking me to kill you. All I know is the voice was female..." They arrived at Logan's room. "Logan, I have returned!" RobDeLaMorte shouted, "Logan? LOGAN!!!" Grave walked up, "Allow me." he said, as he produced a skeleton key and opened the lock. RobDeLaMorte looked mildly impressed, before he saw the empty room and cabinet. "NO! The idiot has gone it alone!" RobDeLaMorte moaned, as he turned toward the Ruins teleport. "What do you mean?" Grave asked. "Well, you may as well know my mission...it's like this..."

V stood up. "Dammit that was a cheap shot!" He shouted out loud. "Logan? Ah hell..." He ran through the next rooms, while pulling out his phone. He called RobDeLaMorte, and got a reply, "Who is it?" "RobDeLaMorte, it's me, V! Hurry down to ruins, Logan is down here!!" "*crackle* I know. I just saw the empty room. Myself and Grave are just entering now. Over-and-out" V carried on running, "Grave? Who is that I wonder...?"

Logan walked through slowly into the large room he knew came before the teleport to Dark Falz. A Dark Bringer appeared, and stomped it's hooves at him. Logan adopted a stance, bracing himself. The bringer charged, and Logan dodged suddenly, while hacking sideways with his sword. The bringer died. "Nearly there...If I hurry, I can revive DarkMagician myself, and be a greater hero than my brother Albert ever was!" The door ahead of him opened up, and he stepped into the teleport...

V had gone like a bat out of hell, and had reached the teleport. He waited outside it, and a moment later Grave and RobDeLaMorte arrived also. "Forget introductions, we must enter swiftly!" RobDeLaMorte shouted as they entered.

Chapter 4: Dark Ritual

V and RobDeLaMorte both shouted simultaneously "LOGAN STOP!" Logan turned, he was at the altar of the monolith, about to touch it. "What? Oh... I got found out eh?" They all approached him. "Look Logan...apart from myself and V, you are the last one left. I cannot allow you to risk your life!" RobDeLaMorte argued. "Shut up! I am going to die someday anyway, why wait like a weakling? DarkMagician never stopped fighting, and he was old too!" Logan retorted. "...He has a point...Very well, you can help us..." RobDeLaMorte replied grudgeingly. They approached the Altar. "So far, so good..." "Shut up V, you are going to jinx us...heheh" Logan said. A small globule of darkness sat on the altar. Logan reached for it. "Wait." Grave shouted. They looked at him, "If any of you touch that, something bad will happen. I feel it." They all hesitated, bar one. RobDeLaMorte snorted, as he grabbed the darkness, and placed it into a glass tube. "Oh! Dangerous! Come, let us leave here..." RobDeLaMorte did not finish the sentance, as Dark Falz appeared in front of them. V reacted first, by exclaiming, "Oh...FU--" "V!" RobDeLaMorte interrupted.

"Quickly, Grave you attack with your scythes, V use your Asukas and Logan, you and I shall spearhead a head-on attack. Come on!" RobDeLaMorte shouted, as he drew Chi Gochisoo. Dark Falz took a swipe at V and Grave. Grave ducked, and V did the splits, "Awouuu! Man that hurt!" V shouted, as he brought his legs together again. Grave nodded, and adopted a stance. "Hraaiii!" He shouted, as he hurled his scythe at Dark Falz. It span faster and faster until it was almost a disc. It flew in a round circle through Dark Falz three times, causing obvious damage to it. Grave leapt up, and grabbed the scythe as he landed. "Not bad..." RobDeLaMorte admitted, as he watched. Suddenly, Dark Falz turned to slash RobDeLaMorte, and there was no time to dodge. "No! Look out!" V shouted. Suddenly, an incredibly large bolt of lightning hit Dark Falz, stopping it's attack. "Who did THAT!?" Logan shouted. "I don't know..." V called back. "Whatever..." RobDeLaMorte said, "Now...watch THIS!" Chi Gochisoo rose up, and carved a visibly magical symbol in the air. "DUUUCK!" V screamed, as he realised what RobDeLaMorte was planning. Everyone did so while watching. RobDeLaMorte's false eye glowed a luminous yellow, as he suddenly shouted, "JUT!" The symbol glowed brightly, and an immense beam of a bloody colour emanated from RobDeLaMorte's forehead, and hit Dark Falz for a few moments. Dark Falz roared, and collapsed. "Holy shit! What the hell was that!?" Logan screamed aghast. "My ultimate power... My Mystic Symbol Attack..." RobDeLaMorte said, pointing to the symbol on his forehead. Grave was secretly horrified, he thought to himself, "There is no way an ordinary human can do that...Yet the legends based on DarkMagician claim he also had powers rivalling these...Perhaps they were true?" Grave snapped out of it. "So, is this it? Can this, DarkMagician, be revived?" RobDeLaMorte smiled properly for the first time in a decade. "Yes...I must finish the ritual with this essence, and BOF! DarkMagician lives once more. Hopefully...Come...the Forest awaits!" They telepiped up, as a mysterious person who watched them followed...

Grave, V and Logan were getting to know each other better while RobDeLaMorte got on with the ritual. "Now...I combine his magic...with Dark Cells...and Falz's essence...Chant the sealing words backwards...TUUM.!..STTID!...NMUOP!" A bright light enveloped the area where DarkMagician fell so long ago. RobDeLaMorte, V, Logan and Grave backed away, as a form took shape in the air in front of them, and landed on the floor. It stood up, the Ultimate Mage was back!

Chapter 5: The Hero Reborn!

The figure took shape, as the light faded. Tall, thin, long bright purple hair, and a blue robe. He looked as young as he was when he first met them. He beamed at them. "...DarkMagician?" V asked. "So...I am finally revived...You have done well RobDeLaMorte! But hold...that voice...Pete?" V leapt up, "Yeah. It's me. I was approaching death from old age, and I was placed into this life-support android. Cool huh?" DarkMagician smiled, but then he looked concerned, "Wait...old age? How long have I been 'resting'?" RobDeLaMorte chipped in, "The year is AUW 2091...You were dead about 53 years..." DarkMagician cried out, "THAT LONG!? But, that means that some of you will have..." Logan stepped in, "DarkMagician...we are the last..." DarkMagician looked horrified. "You mean... Nei ...Snow...Duraku...Infinete...Terra...All of them!?" RobDeLaMorte nodded grimly. "And what of Sakura?" "....." Everyone went quiet. DarkMagician looked grief-stricken, "So...if there are so few of us left, there was little point in me returning....." They all stayed silent. Grave broke the silence, "Wait a moment... there is still the issue of who sent me to kill RobDeLaMorte, and why. I...Ah! Of course! It makes sense now!" "What does?" V asked, as Grave folded his arms thinking. "I remember the BEE message now. It said 'Slay RobDeLaMorte for me, but quickly! He must not be allowed to finish the ri...' That was when it ended...And the voice was female..." RobDeLaMorte realised before the others. "Someone wanted to stop me reviving DarkMagician! But who? Surely we have no enemies left..." Grave had the brainwave again. "You don't think...that Hunewearl we knocked down..." RobDeLaMorte caught on, "OF COURSE! Her Gizonde was of incredible strength, knocking us both out. The Zonde that hit Dark Falz must have been her! But why save me...?" "It doesn't add up..." V added. "Let us find her then!" DarkMagician boomed, "And let the new generation quiver in fear, FOR THE MASTER MAGE IS HERE!"

They all arrived at DarkMagician's room to formulate the plan. It had aged badly, being in the Forest. "Hmm...Sakura kept it clean all the time..." He thought, trying not to weep at his loss. "Right, here is the plan!" He said, taking charge. "Grave, you are an assassin yes? Go scout on, find this woman, and listen in on her. We shall wait nearby. Give us the signal when you find where she stays, and we shall take care of the rest." Grave nodded, "Got it." he replied, as he activated his repaired cloak's camoflage and left. "Come on, let's go!" V shouted. "Just like the old days!" DarkMagician added. They set off for the meeting point...

Grave meanwhile was busy searching for the girl. He entered the Hunter's Guild, and saw her. He walked up behind a fellow Hunter, and asked "Who is that pink-haired girl?" The hunter replied without looking, "That's Tiffany, she is a famous member of the guild. Why do you a-" The hunter turned around. Nothing. "-sk???" Grave was heading back to the others already...

Chapter 6: A Plan For The Ages

"Great work Grave! Your reputation is not unfounded." RobDeLaMorte said, after Grave reported back. "Hey...everyone...I just thought..." V began. "Makes a change..." Logan mumbled. "Shut up! I'm serious. Isn't this JUST LIKE THE 'NEI' AFFAIR?!" DarkMagician shot up from his seat. "You're right! Interesting observation...anyway, on with the plan... One of us shall go in alone and confront her, the rest shall guard the exits to her room. Now, who sees her?" DarkMagician asked. Grave responded first, "We should draw straws, myself and RobDeLaMorte know her power first-hand..." "Agreed. Let's do it." They drew straws, and took up positions, as the chosen one preperared to enter the room...

"Wait, V! This is folly! You are the LEAST resistant to Zonde!" DarkMagician called out quickly. V walked back. "Oh yeah..." DarkMagician glared at Grave and RobDeLaMorte for letting V nearly enter alone. "We should send whoever is the most resistant to magic..." DarkMagician began. The others looked at him. "Oh bugger...not again..." As he marched into the room...

Tiffany sat at a desk alone, filing some Hunter Guild reports and mission requests. DarkMagician walked in slowly, noiselessly. She carried on looking down at her filing. DarkMagician walked up to the desk, and stood in front of her grinning. "What do you want?" She said without looking up. "I do not know...what do YOU want, Tiffany?" DarkMagician retorted playfully. She frowned, and continued working. "You remember earlier when you fried two brawling hunters with Gizonde?" This stopped her. "Yees....." DarkMagician laughed a little, "Well next time, please make sure NOT to shock the one that revived me..." She flinched, and slowly looked up. DarkMagician carried on smiling, as her mouth formed an 'O' and she cast Zonde at him...

The others were playing a game of slaps, when they saw a huge flash of electricity come through the wall, as well as DarkMagician. They all looked on aghast, as he ran in shouting to them, "I have it all under control...gnnk..."

DarkMagician walked back in, "You are powerful indeed, Tiffany...But that is nothing to he that is the Ultimate Mage!" DarkMagician boomed, as she attempted to cast a megid at him, "Ooh! That's not nice!" He said calmly, as he dodged it. It flew through the hole in the wall, and a scream was heard, followed by Grave and V's laughter. "Loogaan..." DarkMagician laughed, as he dashed over and held Tiffany securely. "Let...Me...GO!" She screamed in rage, as DarkMagician signalled to his friends. They closed in on her, and after reviving Logan, tied her up none too gently...

Chapter 7: A New Enemy?

"Now...Tiffany...perhaps you will be more willing to...co-operate with us now?" DarkMagician asked, as he sat close to her, the smile faded. She glared at him, straining to cast a spell, but unable to. "Now, please explain why I must be kept from rebirth. I promise you freedom, protection and happiness if you tell me." She thought for a moment, and tried to scream for help instead. "Uh-uh...soundproof walls..." DarkMagician remarked casually. "And do not attempt to overpower me, as the others wait outside of all the exits to the room." She seemed to calm visibly after that statement. DarkMagician sat up straight. "Now...will you tell me why you attempted to kill me forever?" Tiffany nodded, as DarkMagician removed the duc-tape and signalled to his friends to come in. "A week ago, a man approached me, and forced me to have RobDeLaMorte assassinated, as he had heard that you were nearing rebirth... I do not know why or who he was, he wore a robot suit, but I knew he was human..." RobDeLaMorte butted in suddenly, "But why save me at the Ruins?" Tiffany sighed, "I had not meant to. I missed, I aimed for you, and hit IT instead..." RobDeLaMorte fell silent. "Well, that is all we needed to know..." DarkMagician said, as he cut the bonds. "You may go free now." Tiffany looked uncertain, as though she were fighting an inner battle. "Uh...There is something you should know DarkMagician...I sent TWO MERCENARIES after you all... Grave was one, but the other one I have not seen yet... His name is Iori, he has Bright red hair and red eyes. He holds fearsome powers apparently, but I don't know..." "Alright. Thank you for your help!" DarkMagician smiled, as he ushered her out the door. She stood there a moment, unsure. "What is the matter?" Grave asked. "...I should help you myself...It is my fault for accepting his request. I willn't take no for an answer!" DarkMagician laughed, but RobDeLaMorte and Grave were clearly not amused. "No go..." They said simultaneously. Tiffany looked at them, her large green eyes welling up, "Please?" She said pitifully. That got them. She laughed afterwards, "After all, who can turn someone as cute as me down!?" V opened his mouth, "Do not say anything V...Just don't..." Logan said back without looking.....

As they walked out, DarkMagician realised how similiar this situation was to that of so many years ago. V suddenly nudged DarkMagician out of his daydream, "Hey Dark..." DarkMagician glared at him, "I told you NOT to ever call me that! Do not think I forgot just because I died..." V tried not to sound so flabbergasted, "Yeah...well...anyway, I just thought; There are only TWO enemies left that we know of, yes? This will be easy! Much easier than Cyber Dragons." DarkMagician tried not to appear so concerned, "Perhaps...but that Iori person...I have a bad feeling about him...What powers does he have!?" Logan fell back to them after listening in, "Do not be so worried DarkMagician. We killed the Cyber Dragons, and now YOU'RE BACK, young again. We CANNOT fail!" The three of them laughed out as they sat down in DarkMagician's room, and dealt out some cards, waiting...

Meanwhile, RobDeLaMorte and Grave had gone back to the bar again, and were getting plastered. Tiffany was also there, trying a few shots. It was evident that while her magical prowess in Zonde was unmatched, her drink retention had a lot to be desired. She had three shots, giggled, and passed out quietly on the bar. A moment later, the door swang open. Grave and RobDeLaMorte didn't turn back. A strong voice boomed out, "Has anyone seen the Undead One around here? I have orders to slay him!" RobDeLaMorte and Grave sighed, as they recluctantly got up, and walked over to the new enemy. He looked like any old hunter, though he had red hair and bright red eyes. Grave said out loud to RobDeLaMorte, "Don't you just HATE Deja-Vu?" RobDeLaMorte nodded, as Iori looked on curiously. "I remember...There was too much talking back then...Let's skip straight to the good bit!" RobDeLaMorte snarled, as they both launched themselves at Iori, going through the window. Tiffany woke up after hearing the smash, and sung to no-one in particular, "Show mee the way to go ho-ome..." Before collapsing again...

Grave and RobDeLaMorte were easily gaining the upper hand, two on one and they had surprised him. Though Iori fought valiantly, he sensed an imminent defeat approaching. He teleported a few metres away from them. "What?" Grave uttered confused. Iori stood there silently, as he raised his arms above his head. Purple flames danced about his person, as RobDeLaMorte and Grave looked on. To their horror, Iori split in half, morphed into a truly demented looking angel, and grew demon-wings. Meanwhile, Logan had just gone to fetch drinks for the card-playing, and stumbled upon the transformation. He dropped the drinks in shock, and mumbled to himself, "What...the...fuck....is...that? This cannot be good....." The other two jogged over to him, and drew their weapons as the thing completed it's transformation. "Is this the power Tiffany spoke of!?" Grave shouted. RobDeLaMorte grimly nodded. The creature roared with extraordinary ferocity, and screamed in a voice unlike anything in even Logan's nightmares, "ZERO-IS-HERE!"
