200 hours?!? Pfft! I've put in more hours on characters that I'd got bored with and deleted. You've got to be joking if that's getting you down. It doesn't matter if there are 2 or 2000 people online, the game is only fun as long as you hold an interest and the will to play more. Sure the game's on a decline, it's been out for a long time now and let me mention that it is the longest lasting CONSOLE mmorpg ever made. Retaining interest with a console mmorpg is particulary difficult due to the fact that getting people dedicated to only one game is tough on a console, as opposed to a PC title where people literally live in front of their monitors. But losing hope in the game and insulting it and it's players only comes from your self-frustration and rejection to accept that you couldn't hold a lasting interest. Either way PSO still will remain to exist with the players that hold their faith and love for the game.

Ok all I ever knew how to do was dupe. I just used hacked items other ppl gave me. So I cant lvl hack or create my own items. But It is still pointless even the hackers have given up. I have found atleast 3 hacker websites that say that pso has become pointless. So the game is evermore pointless when the people who hack give up. So I leave you with these words......... IF YOU PEOPLE HAVE PLAYED MORE THAN 200 HOURS ON A VIDEO GAME YOU ARE REALLY REALLY REALLY BIG NERDS, GET A ******* LIFE.

If you're complaining so much and think gamers are nerds then why do you even play games like PSO? If you have such a big objection to the game then just let it go and move on. Continually posting and obsessing on what you don't like shows that you really have nothing better to do. I don't intend to be mean or harsh, but I despise it when people act obnoxious and constantly preach their negative outlooks on games to those who enjoy to play and have no interest to hear them. For example if you don't approve in religion, the mature way to express it is to mearly believe it for yourself and refrain from any action which would be considered religious. You don't walk into a church on Sunday and scream that you hate god and that everyone who does is stupid. That's just excessive. So if you have nothing constructive to say about the game or the people who play it then just go on hating it to yourself. Don't harass those of us who still enjoy to play. Now please put your aggrivation to rest and move on for the good of us all.

As said by a friend of mine, it's not surprising that hackers have lost interest. If you hack something, there's no real appeal to it because you didn't find it yourself. My characters' weapons include Frozen Shooters, a Meteor Cudgel, a Spread Needle, a Flight Cutter, etc... and I get quite a lot of fun out of these weapons because all of them (with the exception of the spread needle which was a trade) were my finds. There's no sense of pride associated with hacked and duped weapons (since the only good reason for duping is FSOD insurance, IMO). So it's no wonder they got bored of it.

.....you only played 200 hours, you duped, hung out with and accepted items from hackers - so, what did you lose? you lost nothing, most of your best items you probably didn't get on your own, so you didn't have to go through hours and hours and hours of hunting like most of us have. and you give up just because of one corruption?! well I haven't been corrupted yet but I have at least 260 hours on ONE of my characters, and that's barely anything compared to what a lot of people have! one of my friends got corrupted even though he's offline, and despite that he's still playing (dunno how many hours, not that much but still). And look at the others here, they've lost many more hours than you and have been corrupted many more times than you but they still play.

So the game is evermore pointless when the people who hack give up.

We have lives, we don't spend all of our time whining about losing duped and hacked stuff it took like ten minutes to get.
