Do you think it will happen!? It would be an easy set up with the wireless connection for it. They could have it set up so that you could play through the story offline and on wireless they could have an open ended multiplayer. How sweet would that be!?!?!

There were rumours last year about PSO being a port from the SEGA Dreamcast games, except altered to be made compatable with the Touch Screen in special menus, and also including online features similiar to those already available on console, by connecting up online. Chatting would be done though using a special headset similiar to Xbox Live.
This may easily have changed though, especially since Nintendo are already planning a Nintendo Online service for the DS, which PSO would most definately have to use.

D'you reckon' that we'll have to pay for HLs? Or not, as Wi-Fi is supposedly free?

Beh... That would suck if you would have to pay to get online.... just cuz it's a handheld... The graphics arenât going to be that good and like... ya I'm not paying online fees for a game that looks like you could play it on a sega Saturn! If you can't tell I don't care much for online fees.

None of us do. But if it helps to keep the service safe, secure and online, then I'm fine with it.

You raise a good point. I hate hackers... Do you think it would be easier for someone to hack on a ds cuz it's handheld and i dunno, it seems like it would be harder to catch people.

It probably would be harder to catch people, as it's not going through a phone line so they can't trace it... or is that not how it works anyway?
