Tekker Help

Sorry if i sound like a n00b asking this question, but why do some characters get different tekkers than others? I mean, when my friend comes over and we play PSO Episodes 1&2(for g-cube), his single player tekker is different than mine, even tho we use the same Section ID (SKYLY/REDRIA).

Any information would help me. (((Sorry if I posted in the wrong spot)))

ummm ok you see how thier are different tekkers well one the skyly tekkers teck skylly weapons and you get skyly weps. now if you were a redria you would get redria weps. i hope i didnt confuse you

Yah Master, i just bought a new digital camera ((in the process of making a mountain biking video to send to http://www.pinkbike.com so i might get sponsor)) but next time i'll play, ill get a picture of the tekker's, just to show you what i see different in them.

That isn't exactly the case completely. Depending on your ID as well, also changes the ratio on how kind you tekker will be on giving certain weapons more %/ better specials.

I am beginning to think you guys misunderstand me. I mean the tekkers themselves are different (ones red, ones fat, ones skinny, ones a fat ugly chick etc etc etc)

That has to do with the first player's section ID. Like if you get the red fat one, player 1 is a skyly.

What's this about being nicer on certain weapons, though? Is there a list somewhere?
