Ermm, right, ummm, help.....Writing isn't exactly easy people >> You have to plan and explain every aspect and convey it in an intresting way.....DM has sucessfully made many stories.....something I can't really do >> (I have a short attention span) It doesn't relieve any stress on the writer when you constantly ask for updates....they will update when they can, if you pressure them, you may cause a decrease in writing quality....So umm, stop asking for a new chapter as you finish the newest one? Even if you really want to read it and see how it works out, keep that kind of thing to yourself....

Chapter 10: A Race Against Time

The blast had sent Tiffany and DarkMagician both flying backwards. They were both unconscious, and when they hit the floor, they started to slide backwards to where they had been. The explosion of electricity had ripped a hole in Pioneer 2's hull, and the vacuum was sucking them backwards, out into outer space. Grave and the others were elsewhere, so it seemed there was no hope...

V, RobDeLaMorte and Grave were waiting in the forest, watching Pioneer 2's hull explode from the blast. "We should go back up and save them..." V began. "After THAT? There may be nothing left to save..." RobDeLaMorte replied. Grave merely sat there, thinking to himself. "The old stories were true... He really is an incredibly powerful force..." "OH NO!" V suddenly burst out. "What?! What is it!?" RobDeLaMorte asked. "Logan is not here! That fool!" RobDeLaMorte cursed, "Dammit! Hurry, into the telepipe after him!" V and RobDeLaMorte sprinted into the teleport, and ascended. Grave meanwhile merely sat there thinking. Then, he donned his stealth cloak and walked south, towards the Ruins...

V and RobDeLaMorte arrived in Pioneer 2. They saw DarkMagician and Tiffany moving past them, "Oh good! They're both alright!" V started. RobDeLaMorte pointed silently at the hole in the hull. "SHIT!" V exclaimed. "We cannot reach them. If we try, we will also be sucked out into the vacuum!" RobDeLaMorte shouted, as the loss of pressure began to give him a headache. "Right. Ah! I know! I always carry a spare piece of rope on me!" V said calmly, as he handed a worn rope to RobDeLaMorte. "....." "Uh...perhaps I should have checked it..." "...Indeed...Agh...My head! We must be swift!" RobDeLaMorte screamed, his head throbbing. "Here! Use this!" They turned around. "Logan, brilliant timing with that cord!" V exclaimed. "I 'borrowed' it from Pioneer's R&D department...heheh...." Logan started, as they attached a hook to the end, and hurled the cord at DarkMagician and Tiffany's limp bodies. The first attempt snagged DarkMagician's sleeve. "Reel him in!" V said out loud. "This is NOT fishing V!" RobDeLaMorte growled, his vision beginning to darken. They pulled DarkMagician's body in after a few tugs, and shoved him into the telepipe. "Now for Tiffany! Hurry!" Logan called above the roar of the vacuum. They threw the cord at her, and missed completely. "Damn! I...UHH! I must go, I am...going to pass...out..." RobDeLaMorte said, as he staggered and collapsed into the telepipe. "CRAP! We remain Logan! Where the hell is Grave!?!" V screamed, as they prepared for another throw. They caught Tiffany's collar, and as they pulled, it ripped. "NO!" V shouted out, as she slid further. Tiffany was now barely five metres away from the hole. Logan's eyes narrowed, as he span the hook around his head in a blur. V let go, and backed away. "This is it!" Logan called, as he released. The hook flew up, bounced off the ceiling, and caught Tiffany's feet. "Gotcha!" They reeled her in, and went back down the telepipe...

Chapter 11: Report

"Scout reporting in sir!" The ranger called out. The new principal turned around. "Ah there you are. Please give me your report." The ranger saluted, "Sir! The sections of Alpha-Six through to Beta-Two have been utterly destroyed! Other sections have taken serious damage, but it will be repairable." The principal nodded, "Any idea as to what caused it?" The scout saluted again. "Sir...you may find this hard to believe..but... It seems that it was caused by magic power! Two forces were fighting a demon, and charged up what I heard was a Zonde spell of ridiculous proportions. Reports also claim that some hunters had previously fought the demon and fled." "WHAT!? Is this true!? Well, did you identify the forces?" The scout shifted uneasily, "Sir...I do not know how to tell you this... But one was Tiffany, the Hunter's Guild worker...and the other..." "Go on..." "...The other was DarkMagician." The principal stood up at hearing this. "WHAT? Are you sure?" "Yes sir!" "But he has been dead for decades! Even if he were not, he would be extremely old! Send out a search party! NOW! We must know the truth!"
