I found a Varista today from a Lily, a Blade Dance from something, and some other crap. I am surprised about the rare items you can get in Temple Hard, I am trying to find a Twin Psychogun.

I just got my Twin Psychoguns, no %. This is the weapon I started my Purplenum for, and I obtained it on my first Love Rappy (Temple 2). Took me ten Temple runs, sweetness.

EDIT: To bad my Varista is x10 better, the special is crap, just a get a Shot and hit multiple areas or at a partisan. And my Vise +9 has more ATP. It is decent, not great.

Having found four pairs myself (in one day), I can say that I like the Psychoguns pretty well. Yeah, the special isn't great, although it does pierce... but they're actually decent in terms of power, definitely better than a Vise, Justice or Combat. And they only need 100 ATA to equip... so find another pair for when you make, say, a HUmar or HUnewearl (or RAmarl), and they can equip some nice mechs early on.

Which is one of the reasons I'm hunting a Red Mechgun... my RAmar has kind of "outgrown" his Psychoguns and I'm looking for something better, so I can pass his set on to my HUnewearl, who lacks a decent set of mechs.

When you say Pierce you mean Splash right?

Call it what you like... I tend to think of Launchers having more of a splash damage than the Psychogun, as its special tends to keep moving even after hitting an enemy. It's not too powerful or accurate, though, which is why IMO it sucks. But don't knock it because the Varista is "better..." it has more power than a Varista if you can hit 9 times (or even close to 9), and as a RAmar you won't have any problem doing that.

Basically, it's like comparing a saber to a twin saber... one has more single-hit power and reliability, but the other does more damage when you add up the combo.

I am comparing the overall usage, which you can compare a Cane to a Double Saber. I am just glad I didn't pipe (I never pipe) it. Now I hav to stick with a Purplenum, I rather have a... well, I guess the Purplenum is decent, just not for me.

I think any ranger will tell you, that Purplenum is great as a ranger ID. Now, I have it on my HUmar... but then my RAmar is a Redria so I just kinda swap their good finds.

purplenum is proabably the best ranger ID, because it gets basically every ranger weapon (including the yasminkov 9000m).
