I thought if they give PSU voice overs, they should make characters chant incantations when they cast a tech.

the characters would need to say it really, really fast, or the techs would go very slow when being casted  .
i once played a GC game called "Tales of Symphonia" and in that game, alot of the magic moves had little incantaions with them. one of the characters was an "angel" or something like that and when ever she attacked she some really crazy stuff. like (not exact quotes) "Lord, destroy our foes, and reveal thy glory." and then she would shoot out a bunch of feathers off her wings. it was kind of crazy, and it got slightly annoying after awhile whith all the gibberish chants. anyone else ever played that game?

you've been playing way to much ToS as have I. It would be alright if its a party based game however, if an offline player were to play as a single character, it would be extremely annoying .

lol, yes, there are a lot of people who have played Tales of Symphonia here, including me, and why shouldnt have they? Tis a great game, theres lots of discussion about it in the GC forum.
To make PSU alike ToS though would be something of a change to the battle sequencing, possibly for the better! However i dont think they should say things when casting techs though, as it would take a while. If they just shouted out the name of the tech as they were using it, thatd be much better, or even to customise what they say per tech, now thatd be dam cool!
For longer sayings though, such as the ones used (for example) by Collette in ToS when she uses her special moves (Holy Song/Angel Wings), and as Feline Witch has used, would be much better suited to moves like Photon Blasts.

That is easily my favorite tech in Tales.
Well, I was hoping to put them in RPG, but the thing is, I don't know any people who sound like my charas, and hell, a lot of people I know sound like retards. And no voice acting is better then crappy voice acting.
