#1
-You have to be Multiplayer offline right? no single player?
-How does it work, does it save progress, levels, weapons, and after completed is it deleted?

Its multiplayer only. Online or offline. And i think it just saves your times. Not 100% sure about what it saves

You have to play it with at least 2 players, online or offline, unfortunately, but makes it much easier! lol

How does it work?

After you complete each Challenge Stage, your total time gets added to your record, and the following Challenge Stage gets unlocked for play. You can either move on or go back to a previous Challenge Stage to improve on your previous time for that particular stage if you wanted too (If you do go back, you wont lose anything else you've unlocked).

The aim is to complete the certain levels as fast as you can, without being killed. If you are killed, you have to start again from the beginning of that particular Challenge Stage. You can complete each level by collecting items, weapons etc, although everything you've collected after youve completed the whole Stage is deleted, and youre given all new levels, EXP, MAGs, items, and weapons when you begin the next Stage.

Once you've completed the whole thing, all the Challenge Stages stay available if you wish to go back to any other previous stages again for some reason or another (E.g. to improve your time if you didnt complete it fast enough to gain an S-Rank weapon).

Note it doesnt affect everything you character has earnt (I.e. levels, EXP, weapons, items, etc.) in the main game, unless you earn an S-Rank where you'll obviously be awarded it to play with in the main game Big Grin

doesn't that mean if you do challenge with only 2 people, it'll be alot harder than if you had 4? because there'd be only 2 of you to take on the same amount of enemies.
Too legit to quit.

Exactly. The more the merrier!

Playing with 4 people means youve got a much bigger chance of getting it done, and getting it done quicker for that lovely S-Rank ^_^

Thanks but say I had 2 players and it is a regular difficulty. Then I had 3 or 4 it woukld be more harder in terms of enemies and everything?

Nope, theres always the same amount of enemies no matter how many players, and C-Mode doesnt have any difficulty levels either! Its allll the same. ^_^

that's kind of unfair to teams with only 2 guys. they number of baddies should be proportioned to the number of people playing

Well it was really made for multiplayer. Its meant to be challenging in that exact way! If the reduced the number of enemies currently in C-Mode itd have to be halved, making it so dam easy itd be silly really!
