I got mine on Tuesday a week and a day after i paid for it by phone.
The reason everyone didnt get them as early as theyd hoped was because Nintendo UK themselves werent getting the paks in until the end of the week to ship out.

Mine also arrived just over a week from when I paid for it. If you are still waiting by say midweek you might want to get a hold of Nintendo.
On a side note, the DS makes playing GBA games comfortable and with a backlight, it's just a shame I can't use it for connectivity.

Dark Imakuni Wrote:How long did it take you to recieve the DS from the date your payment cleared? My payment cleared on the 8th February 2005 and I still haven't got it The e-mail clearly states it will be deployed for delivery 48 hours (2 days) after the payment clearing. Which means I should've had it delivered to me by now.
Please tell me when I should get it! I made a bet with my best mate saying I should have it by the Saturday coming!
Actually, typically when I got home on the day I made this post I found my shiny new DS on my welcome mat, a week and a day after my payment cleared.
Why is fate so cruel...?

Sounds like everyone got it exactly 8 days after paying for it! lol
Its a shame the DS doesnt have a GBA-GC Connection port, i was hoping i could use it on 4 Swords, but i guess ill have to stick with my old GBA!

Mine arrived on wednesday!
It also went back today!
It's a shame to be without it, but there was a rather annoying black speck under the top screen. Nintendo were very nice about it, and said they'll send a replacement if I sent mine back. I didn't even have to send the games back, or the DS box.
I liked it while I had it. Mario 64 DS was very impressive, as was Metroid, and Wario Ware was extrememly fun, making great use of the touch screen!
Hey, I can still..

Drat! What miserable luck!
My replacement arrived today, and it has no black speck. It does, however, have a broken pixel that remains red the whole time. Near the middle of the top screen (just below) and very noticable on completely black or blue backgrounds.
I'll probably be sending it back on monday. I'm not too annoyed, anyway. Most people's are ok, so I suppose I'm just unlucky, and I'll probably get the next replacement before launch too (I'd miss it much more when I have mr driller, project rub and polarium!).

You mean youve had 2 DS' now both with dead pixels?! OMG now thats bad luck, maybe you should ask them to test it before they send you the 3rd one! :S

I may well do. This time I'll be ringing instead of emailing (to try for free postage on my part this time!). The thing is, they may have tested it, by just turning it on, but because of the general paleness of the menu screen, you can't see the red pixel against it!
