As far as songs go, I tend to only like to listen to a few particular songs rather than go by bands.

It's called The Sound of Silence. That's funny, I listen to those two songs too. I also listen to Bend and Break by Keane.
I listen to non-songs too, in the form of classical music. I know very few people of my age group who likes it as much as I do. Yes, I know I have really strange taste .
