the criatures on pso are weak to some, strong to others, the ones were they are strong your techs do 0 right?
so....if a char equips a 4 slot armor and puts 4 perfect resist, increasing the protection to 100 or higher will i get damaged or will i be imune to techs like the enemys?

Hard to say since you're on V2... I suppose it's theoretically possible. On PSO GC, I've only ever really seen people manage to get their EDK to 100 (to deal with bothersome Megid).

I say you would get either 0 or 5 percent damage. It would all depend on the level of the tech. attack.

Great question, KIREEK, I want to know the answer to this too. I used to have a Perfect Resist. I wish I tested this out back then. =(

What does each unit of edk/elt/efr/eic/eth mean anyway? E.g. is each EFR 1% damage reduction for all fire spells?

How does it depend on the level of tech? Would a level 30 tech really be resisted less (by %) than a level 1 tech?

all i know is that 40 efr is the fire damage -40%......
so if i have 100 % tech resistance will i receive damage, or will i take 0 damage
megid lvl 30 has 100 % chance of killing in 1 hit, but if the criature has 90 edk then thers only 10 % (100-90 =10)
lvl 29 megid and below i do not know
i just want to see if 4 perfect resists can do a major diference
imagine in batle mode 1 hunter 100 resistance and 3 forces.......this would be an interesting match

I'd imagine all the Forces would end up with POW MAGs, trying to be Rangers... at least I would. XD Wait, are you sure you can get 100 resists to all? Perfect Resists give +11 to all on DC (+9 on GC), so with four of them, that's only +44, and I doubt there's armour/shield that can push all of them to 100.

I could still shoot you when you're frozen, if you still freeze with 100 EIC that is ;D. No State Maintenance for you!

You could always test it out yourself, even with one perfect resist. Grab a few people with different levels of Foie and go to Battle. Also test if you can freeze.

9 on gc? that i did not know

i think it is impossible to get 100, but with the right armor and shield i guess you can reach 85 or more

you can always cause effects no matter what the resists, AFAIK (as far as i know).
