Just seen it myself, and being quite the Bond fan, i thought it was pretty damn awesome
Craig as the new Bond is pretty different although while watching the film it doesn't take a lot of imagination to think you're watching another James Bond film. And as usual there's lots of cool action scenes and nice ladies, and this film also includes a fair bitta poker too which can't be complained about! Theme tune's also great - This whole thing is just great and i urge anyone who's anyone to go and see

Hmm.. Bond films, in my opinion, have only gotten worse as time has gone by. At first they seemed cool, but now I dread sitting through another one.

I agree, good man! The cheese in those films is so thick it begins to suffocate. Also one guy with a pistol taking down armed batallions of soldiers with uzis and sub machine guns?
PLEASE!
Eugh it's such a guy film

... wait... uh oh!

Before any Bond films start you should hear him scream: "G0dm0d3! turN 0n!"
...
I think that the spectacles are good. I'll give it that, the franchise has some incredible spectacle shots. But the problem is I feel most good novels or films of that genre (spy) should be realistic. Unrealism is fine in fantasies or icelandic sagas, but in contemporary or "near present" - in our location - films... I just KNOW that guy would die. It just ruins it for me.

...And that's exactly why you
SHOULD see Casino Royale! It's Bond back to his very basics. There's little cheese, no catchphrases...
Quote:Waiter: What would you like Mr. Bond?
Bond: Martini please
Waiter: Any particular way?
Bond: Do i look like i give a damn!
... more realistic, much less gadgets, etc.
SEE IT SEE IT SEE IT!

I saw it yesterday and it rocked.
It does indeed seem like its gone back to basics, I mean I cant remember seeing any gadgets in this one, unless I missed them completely...
Plus, he doesnt even have a flash car at the start, he has a Ford Mondeo! LOL.
