Do differences between males and females of the same race still exist apart from looks (obviously), animations and equippable gear? What are they like?
I hope 'yes', because the techs ability/stats differences worked well in PSO, although it wasn't always fair

. I think it's much more realistic and original and fun.

Only difference I believe that exists now is that females get better ata/tp/ and i think evp or def over the males while they get atp and hp and one other stat.
PSU Characters:
Azel, lvl 90 (FT lvl 10)
Miriya KadreshiOrta, lvl 32 (FigG lvl 2)
Collette, lvl 28 (force lvl 5/hunter lvl 5)

Yes, the typical sexist gender differences are still in place. I thoroughly don't support them because it often leads to people playing outside their own gender (which actually does get a bit annoying. XD), and because I don't like how it's impossible for a female not to have higher ATP, HP, etc than a male if they both focused on getting it as high as possible.

Apart from stats differences, do they have differences similar to the level 15/level 20 techs and the absence of Shifta/Deband/J/Z and the different tech bonuses they had in PSO?
Those were such big differences, and I can understand why people dislike them, but if they didn't exist, then PSO would essentially have seven classes instead of twelve. In an old thread, 'if you could change one thing in PSO what would it be', I suggested that you should be able to select whether to have male or female stats of whichever job/sex you choose (except HUmar/HUnewearl

).
Once again people could be forced to start crossdressing

Too bad...

There's no limits on either gender. The only difference is the actual stat growths.

I think (and i'm not being sexist or anything) That it's a good thing that males and females are different. It works better with real life, in a way. And besides, since the majority of PSU players are probably gonna be males, you need to choose. Stare at a cute butt and sacrifice ability, or stare at an ugly one, but be stronger.

Oh, is that all.

How... boring...
and lazy of them... XD
When you say "growth" do you mean that they increase at different rates while gaining levels, (just like in PSO), and eventually reaching the same level on reaching their final level (which is probably not 200 anymore

), (which is different from PSO), or do they eventually have different stats too (just like in PSO)?
Sorry if my wording is a little confusing.

What I mean is, the males gain more of certain stats than females (ATP and HP mostly), and females get more of certain stats than males (TP and magic ability). Frankly these typical sexist stat differences really do get on my nerves. They show up in RPGs everywhere. It's like an unwritten law that a female's not allowed to be physically stronger than a male. (Although I did do something rather nasty in Final Fantasy 2 to elminate this... XD)
And Nomercy... I should slap you.

*gulp* I've been slapped once today already. But its partially true. And I agree with the stereotypes in games. I haven't seen a male white mage apart from in the FF game where you could choose jobs.

One can always hope the world will become less male-dominated with time... XD, and yeah, how often does one see a male healer forced upon you in a game. XD
