No more fixing Dreamcasts

Acording to seganerds.com, dreamcast and saturn will not be fixed anymore, if you console broke then get it fixed before september, or simply buy a new one

I guess it's not worth it any more. Cheaper to buy a new one than it is to have it repaired. Although that being said, I doubt it's very easy to find a new one around.

if used then there are some problems, using normal cd roms tires the lens (basicly mine has this) so original disks won't run, so fixing would be best even if you pay more then buying an used one.

True, but I mean more about the parts that are required to fix it. I don't think any other consoles use the same type of laser, or something, so it's a DC-only thing, and they're pretty pricey.

Maybe Kirey can fix them, to be unique- and then, since he's most likely the only one fixing Dreamcasts anymore, he could overprice his services when people request them! It comes with the job.

but i still doubt i could make a job just by fixing dreamcasts LOL

[COLOR="Cyan"]i have an emulator, it uses real dreamcast game disks and saves, but the console is diferent........i am even sorry for seeling my genesis.

uh...well, I guess what you want to do is up to you, but one other solution to the whole Dreamcasts not being fixed is that you simply just don't break them.
