No this is not a thread saying I have killed people, although I would love almost nothing more than to do just that to some people.....

No, this thread is a simple question asking if anyone knows of the ways to justify Homicide?
I know it is all questionable, but there has to be a trend in what has been justifiable ( in the US of course)

Again, this is not so I will go out and kill people, but I am looking for infomation on this topic for a class of mine,

Now the second part of this topic:

I am going to make a poll, and I need suggestions on what tpo put as options.

Edit: posts below remind me of self defense. If the death of your attacker cant be avoided then there really isnt anything wrong with it.

The only justification to kill another person should be the self defense.

if a person kills another in a self defense way it is okay i guess, killing a person on purpose like revenge or simply to avoid problems (thief kills the victim so there will not be complications) is not justified.
no one deserves to die, even the lowest scup does not deserve to die, no one must kill another person, taking someones life cannot change once it is achieved.

That's true. If a person accidentally kills someone by defending himself. We have the right to do that. And no one, should be charged with murder just because he/she was defending him/herself.

[SIZE="2"][COLOR="DeepSkyBlue"]I know there are legal ways to get out of killing, such as if you kill someone in defense and there is no other way, or by defending someone else whose life is threatened.

And I think whenever you kill someone to stop them from commiting a serious crime, such as rape or burglary, I think.

I need some legal reasons for justifiing homicide for this class of mine, then after I get a list of justifications, then I am going to make a poll and see which ways you guys think should be legal and which shouldn't be legal, but it is hard to find a list of justifications, so if anyone knows actual legal justifications, let me know?

Now that aside, I agree with the vasst majority, it should not be justifiable, except in certain cases such as self defense.

So if someone could find a site that will tell me, or if anyone knows anything about it or such, just post it here please.[/COLOR][/SIZE]

There's no justification to taking another human being's life. Simple as that, self defence or not. There are ways to disable an attacker without taking their life, and many of them are very simple. Fact of the matter is that killing is killing, no matter the medium. Heh. Either way, you have to think logically. You aren't just destroying one life. In most cases the attackers or whatever have families.

I sorta agree. There are ways to disable someone without killing them, but in the panic of the moment, and being untrained, how likely would the person be able to do that? If someone has a gun pointed at me and I have one as well I'm damn well gonna shoot to kill.

someone has to be killed, some peole prepare the shot and they fire. you know, insted of gas, letal injection, eletric chair, they shoot and kill.
