With it's simple yet addictive interface, sleek style and plethora of awesome games, how in the world did it fail???
Plus PSO alone owns every PS2 and Xbox online game...
Why couldn't more people realize its capabilities???
Man now I'm depressed....
Anybody remember Planet Ring? That game was so fun and it pretty much pioneered the Voice Chat for consoles....

some said it was lauched too soon, when playstation2 came there was not a problem at start, but then came final fantasy and playstation uber publicity, dreamcast slowly "fall into a pit"
if we check the games graphics of the dreamcast we see that some are really bad, the resolution of some images, the amount of model quality.....but when we play the game on a regular tv and actually play the games we see that the model quality is enouph for the ocasion and the resolution in images is also enouph, therefore saving space in disk to put other stuff.
the 1 gb disks were different from normal cd's, they had 3 zones, low density so you could read on your pc and take wallpapers, the midle zone with the copyrigth of sega and the high density zone, this howhever had 1 gb of size, witch mean without low and midle zone the gd capacity would be higher.
sega also beted ALOT on the beguining with sonic adventure or soul calibur, but even after months some games were not even near soul calibur graphics, only some games used the totality of disk space.
dreamcast code is very easy to work with and some companys still lauch games on dreamcast, it's easier and faster.
online gamming was a huge bet also, (and the montly fees), PSO, star lancer, unreal tournament, quake 3 arena, chuchu rocket.
don't know why, but after a while ppl started to make games for playstation 2 only, and dreamcast was not there to compete.
ofcourse games like pso, starlancer (amazing work if i may say converting keyboard intructions to a dc controler) ecco, chu chu, soul calibur these will remain unique features.....(ecco in dc has some diferences from playstation)
i would like to hear opinions, to me dc is still alive, you play for fun and in dc is where i have most fun, other consoles never cativated me much.

Commercially, the Dreamcast has died. People may well still be releasing games for it, but they won't gain much for doing it. I have seen no stores which have a section for DC games, and the reason for that is because they simply are not worth it any more.

some ppl still want to buy games for dc, but they often use internet to do so.
