PSP Japanese Demo

I'm downloading it right now, can't wait to give it a blast. Info on it I've found so far:

There will be two single-player missions
Full character creation
Five multiplayer missions
PS2/PC character transfer
Max level of 20
8 character slots
Hybrid classes (Fighgunner etc)
Five-player wi-fi cooperation (Haven't found out if this is true or not yet. Gonna copy it to my girlfriend's PSP as well and see if we can play together)

A friend of mine played it and he found it fun, however, it's in japanese so it's kinda hard to understand what are we doing, i hope you have better luck nomercy

It's going pretty well. I went through both story mode missions and I'm now messing through multi mode. At level 4 I started a mission solo because I forgot to bring a party, and ended up at level 7 beating the De Ragan. That was pretty rough, as I've not played PSU in some time, and my hands are all set out for skills and moves in Crisis Core. Got an S rank for that mission, and am currently doing another. Level 10 now, so halfway through.

The Japanese is only really a problem for item descriptions. I've found a few 8* items that I have no idea what the hell to do with. Stats are fine though, as it's pretty obvious what's what. I'm also loving the B-rank twin earth daggers I got.

I'll keep ya posted on progress.

Anyway, update. I've reached the level cap of 20. Character classes have a max level of 5, Photon Arts have a max of 11. The only problem I'm having at the moment is working out how to switch classes, as there's absolutely no character power-ups for me until I do--I think I should try looking up the Japanese.

So regarding items and char details, are they the same as in the original PSU?

The statistics and everything are the same, as far as I can figure. With it being in Japanese I can't read it, that's the only problem I've come across so far.

Also, I've S-ranked four of the five multiplayer missions thus far.

Hybrid classes (Fighgunner etc)

Are you sure are the expert classes? I got the full version but there are no Fighgunner, Fortegunners, Fortetechers, Fortefighters, Guntecher, Wartecher, Acrofighter and Acrotecher, just found the classes you can evolve are "Fightmaster, MasterGunner, MasterTecher, Acromaster & Protranser" Which actually ARE NOT the real Master classes in the online version, they seem more like the Fightmaster is kinda like the V1 Fighgunner, Gunmaster kinda like the V1 Fortegunner, Acromaster and Protranser are pretty broken lol. Also that the PA rules in the full version are no different from PSU V1, aka no AoI upgrades on the PAs, still you have the AoI PAs which is weird to use them without those status upgrades lol.

As I said, I can't read Japanese. Therefore, I can't tell for sure. Just that there are eight classes.

Also Rei?, you may be able to help with this. How do you change classes? I can't figure out how. Not sure if it's possible in the demo, but I assume, since it displays 8 classes, it is possible.

Actually some classes requires a certain level to evolve, but well you can always change class in the place you changed your basic classes but will require an amount of meseta and class levels to do so depending on the cathegories, the complete info about those classes you can find it here. http://psupedia.info/PSP:Types

In that case, it seems I won't be able to; the demo, once you beat story mode's chapter and enter multi mode, drops you in Parum. You can go on missions, or to the GRM store. There's a third option that's greyed out. Hmm, this is depressing. I have a b-rank set of twin handguns I want to use, but I've maxed my character level and class level. This sucks, lol.
