Tournament battle times should be arranged between the two opponents, whether by PM or Email, and posted in this thread. The tourney will be played over 4-6 weeks in which time all battles should be fought.

Date: Jan 29 2003
Fixture: Sol vs. decswxaqz
Lobby: EU: Alphard 06
Time: 20:00 GMT (xxx beat time)
Result: decswxaqz wins 3-2 (results to be inserted after the battle)

The rules that the tourney should be played by are as follows:
- All games will last for 10 minutes and will be fought under Battle Rule 2. This cuts down the threat of cheating between players and gives everyone an even advantage. The most kills in the time given wins the match.
- If you need help organising your battle time between different time zones, you should check out this special 'time zone converter' thread giving a complete breakdown of all the relative time differences: http://www.ragol.co.uk/forums/showthread...adid=1192.
- There are openings for up to 32 players in the tourney on a first come first serve basis. Any extra entries handed in will be put forward as reserve players. All members will be notified when the submit date for entry forms is about to expire.
- The finalised player list and brackets can be found here: http://www.ragol.co.uk/tourney2. During the actual tournament this page will be updated with the results as they come in.

Members have the choice to play without a referee in the match. Members will also be trusted to hand in final results without cheating. If any cheating is reported within a game, a referee will be called in to view a rematch. If you wish a Referee to be present, please contact one of the Administrators who will assign one to your game. Once a match is over, the person who previously posted their battle time in the Tournament Fixture Thread should edit the post and place in the result.

The 1st reported battle was held and to celebrate, I shall tell the dramatic tale of this epic battle.
5...4...3...2...1...GO!
Off they ran, Fiona and Bumble_Bee, in a rush to acquire the equipment to wage fair war. Sabers, frames, handguns and clubs were dropped and picked up in a hurry.
Finally, the encounted began. Although it was the first, it wasnt the longest, as Fiona made quick work of BB with a simple Rafoie. BB was down within the first 2 minutes.
However, BB was to have none of this, as he came back with a vengence, and a 10% native saber. he made quick work of Fiona with the help of some traps.
The battle waged on, until a pivotal point, BB was lvl 11 and Fiona was lv 16 when BB stumbled upon the trimates. he took his handgun and marched his way to the trimates. With those in hand, he was confident in his ability to obtain victory.
The battle went back and forth, with swings of the saber, and magic flying. Finally, the tables lean to favor bumble bee, as after the death of Fiona, with about 6 hp, BB decided to wisely use a trimate. From that point on, the game was put out of reach, and as the ever great Chick Hearn would put it.
The Fridge is closed, the butter is hardening, the jellos jigglin, and the eggs are coolin.
The Victory goes to Bumble Bee!
It was a good match and I give great amounts of credit to Phantom_Racast, as he and Fiona put up a fierce battle, and deserve to be commended. Now, time to wait for round 2!!!

lol, yes Ziona BB and the score was BB 7 kills, Ziona 4 kills BB 3000pts, Ziona -3000pts. Ending lvs were, BB lv21, Ziona lv36

Unfortunatley all fixtures in the tourney are non-specialised (ie tech battles) and so can be fought using melee or techniques.
