Super Smash Brothers Melee

Hey, i was wondering, has any1 heard news of a sequel to melee? So far i havent seen anything. I really hope there's gonna be 1, cuz i love that game so much!

Yeah me too, there was so much to do, and Nintendo finally came to their senses and created young link as a playable character, and Gannondorf, and the fact yu can change zelda into sheik, plus they made brand new courses for their target practice, I just thought they were gonna use the same ones, and its easier to complete the platform things now, took me a while to do it on the first one just for a stupid BGM test : P

That is a great game. My friend is unbeatable at that. I can beat anyone else I have ever played but in a 10 stock match but he beat me with Sheik and Falco 9 lives to 0. (geez!!!)

No news as of yet though.

It's doubtful that they'll actually release a sequel to Super Smash Brothers Melee for the Gamecube. Most likely what will be happening is that they'll start work on a sequel soon for the game for release several months after the 'N5' has been released.

To be honest what else could they put into the game apart from maybe some more levels and weapons. Are there any more old characters they could dig up and restore into the game?! I would say some nice movies of the game may be released at next years E3, unless they show of some nice 'N5' footage and capabilities at this years E3.

the n64 version is the best one, to me. i dont think this years E3 is showing anything about an ssbm sequel. there is only one person i know who can beat me, my brothers friend, and everyone else i know sucks at it, except one of my friends who was close to beating me.

I thought SSBM was great, I just really suck at it. Oh well. Everyone else I know is good so maybe if they come out with a sequel my friends will get that and won't play their other games as much. Then I swoop in for the kill (or steal, or borrow) and take the games I've been wanting to play!

I can beat anyone else I play against by at least five lives but he beats me 9 to 0.

that would be cool if ssbm got online. although it would be hard to join a game because most of them r in the middle of one. it would be like

level #of players type of game

that would be a menu, and then peopel would join and the game would start.

To be honest, unless games were like 10 minutes long each, there would probabily be a mega high demand for online games of Super Smash Brothers, so new games would probabily be easy to come by!

However i agree with you there, SSB games would be great online, but because the games so fast, it would be dependant on quite a fast connection.

I love SSBM, my friend and I are so well matched that in a fight between the 2 of us we spent 15 minutes attempting to hit each other but the other kept blocking and evading. We can predict each other way too easily. I was Zelda and he was Roy in that match, he eventually won, but I almost beat him. The sad part was it was a 5 stock match that started with 4 people and ended with the 2 of us fighting for 15 minutes.
