hehehe.
I like the look of it, but I'm not too sure what you actually do. So someone hwo has the game, can you tell me what it's like and what you do?
I see it as some sort of Animal Crossing game

Well i haven't played Animal Crossing (Dam Nintendo of Europe), but i sure have played a lotta Harvest Moon!
Simply what it looks like, you....farm!
You earn money by either growing fruit/vegetables on your farm, selling milk from your cows, eggs from your chickens, wool from your sheep, etc. You also raise your animals, you buy them as you have the money, plus you getta free horse you can use to gallop around Forget-me-not valley!
Also you find and start chatting up one of 3 girlies around the valley, and by the end of the first year, you will have a wife and a baby to take care of (Whether you want one or not! lol). Apparently the baby also eventually helps you out on the farm, but a while away yet!
I haven't played it for a while cos of college, but i was around Summer of year 2 and there are 40 years to go through!! Took me weeks/months to get past the first year! Lots of playability, always something else to do. A bit like the sims of farming games!

lol, yes i was just saying how rare the game was since it's release!
Since then i think UbiSoft have gone into publishing a few more. They should be a bit easier to find now...if not it's online!
I know that GAME have the game back in stock on their website >>>

Another website you should also be able to find the game on is Special reserve >>>

I always liked the Harvest Moon games (Except the horrible PS2 version YUCK!). Really, they are RPG's but not in the normal fantasy/magic/battle/monster sense. It is a farming RPG. Now, I do not own the Gamecube version (I want it), but I have the 64 version and I loved it.
I played my cousin's copy of A Wonderful Life and I really enjoyed it though.

Yes, you do get to mary a girl of your choice.
Nothing weird about it though. The game is rated E if I'm not mistaken.

Yes, Harvest Moon is a very niche game. You won't find people going crazy about it's release like other games (Well, some do...). It is a nice alternative to the norm of videogames though.
Suprisingly, Harvest Moon does pretty well for almost no marketing at all.
