I tried making one. Lets say it didnt work out very well Rolleyes. Might just take the avatar now and edit the hair colour, suit colour etc.

No. You only need to create the avatar (offline or online) and then upload it to a site. Geocities don't let you offsite link. Maybe if you find a good picture online, link to it from there. Maybe, they might not like it though.
