Crashes (Xbox)

So cheesed off. Crashed last night, during the second form of Dark Falz. This was our second attempt, as someone else had crashed out the first time (and we couldn't beat Falz without them). I lost 100k Meseta, and a couple of decent weapons. This is the third time it has crashed and I've lost items. Can there be any excuse for this? I was going to e-mail Sega Europe, but then remember that they're about as much use as a chocolate teapot. Their PR are telling people that the voice lag is a "feature". Really? So are the frequent crashes / item and money loss a feature also? Trying to emulate the golden age of the dreamcast version with its 33.6k modem?

Excuse the bile but I'm really quite annoyed.

I've crashed loads of times on the Xbox sadly. There is not much you can do about it except stay away from lobbies with more than 85 users, and put all your unneeded items/money in the bank.

Narf.... I installed my Hax0red version of PSO and it reformatted my dashboard. Ill get it woyking 1 day.

Well sadly even putting your stuff in the bank isn't a guarantee any more. The first Crash I had removed EVERYTHING from the bank (money AND items). This time I lost unequipped items and money (all in the bank).

hmmm. Usually during the most common crash, FSOD, you lose unequipped items and money, your bank is safe. I haven't heard of a crash that destroys the items in your bank as well, apart from complete corruption. Oh well. The price we pay for playing the greatest multiplayer game ever.... and the £5.99 a month

Well i haven't had any trouble with my xbox game.... yet.... but then again i cant use my headset to talk neways. For some reason when i talk it kicks me out of the game 70% of the time. So thats the reason that I am to get the USB keyboard adapter!!!!! o yea.... hardware baby.... 105 keys.... 125 w/m..... take it.....

let me put it this way.....

Xbox = Computer = Crash

thats pretty well it.....when any errors are present during a program...the computer can't do anything but either try to fix the problem or...shut down.....it happens ALOT with Xboxes....gamecube on the other hand has only happened to me about 3 or 4 times....thats with over 3 years of playing my cube.....

resolution to the crashing problem.....keep away from any places where there would be alot of memory being used up (lobbies containing alot of PSOers) and actually having too many members in your party when playing the game (all members are using weapons/techs/items) at the same time could cause the game to lag....and could even cause a crash.
