As of my Christmas break starting on Friday of this week I may not be on as much as I normally am. I won't be at work anymore where I have a comp in front of me and fast internet I will at home with my 56k and parents wanting to save money by cutting down internet time seeing as I racked up our bill way more then normal as I was on here for hours on end when I first joined. I will on as often and as long as I can at a time. So if u are waiting for a relpy please be patient. See u around.

See ya GG......I have only a 56k modem at home that only runs at a mere 24 kbps......but I still go on, so I can reply almost anytime.

Mine also runs at about 24kbps but its my parents that are trying to save some money so they are restricting the time we have onlone witch sucks a lot of *^* if u ask me.

ya, thats what unlimited is good for. Its only about about 24$ a month, so my parents actually thought it'd be better.

They are thinking of switching to unlimited but they are unsure. What can I say they didn't think I would ever be online this much so now they are pissed that I am racking up hours on quote "a waste of time site that is pointles." I will do my best to be online when I can.

Well well, you have nasty internet speeds, mine are lovely but with a slow comp. Convince your parents to get unlimited its only like a few bucks more, but really worth it, believe me. If i had dsl with a limited service, hm i think our bill would be thru the roof lol.

Thats the problem with your internet Darkmatter u have dsl but u have a slow computer so even if u wanted to play some games online u can't cause your comp is to slow. So u balance out fats internet with a crappy comp. Tongue

I only have a crappy internet speed bc I live out in the country, which can't really be helped yet. Besides I usually only use internet to chat on MSN or check my hotmail. Occasionally I'll go on some gaming sites, but thats about it.

actually, I'd rather get a much better computer........my friend currently owns one really amazing computer, he can max out Doom 3 and FarCry no problem, without the game being choppy.

Then again, finding someone online with an amazing computer and an amazing internet connection to play with, is quite slim.......so I'd have to say, just get a better computer, that way you can play alot more and better games.

Ya better comp here to. I also live out in the country witch actually everyone in the city calls the sticks here.

the "sticks" :S thats an odd name for the country. Meh! I'm kind of in a small (pop.150) town in Eastern Ontario....Griffith. lol.....its so small that you pretty much blink and you'll end up missing it...lol.

But ya, I definitely need a better computer out here. My crappy 8 years old Pentium 2 isn't worth a cent.
