Would it be worth getting? I'm tempted to since the GC lacks a suitable tablette of RPG's while the GBA is full of them, but does it get really pixelated when put on a large screen? If it does I'd rather not spend $69.99 on it, that's right, $69.99 (Canadian though). If it was cheaper I wouldn't hesitate but meh.

I have one and I love it. Yes the graphics do get pixed a little, but who can resit the temptation to blow the living hell out of your enemiens in Goldensun2 with Catastroph I meen it is just beutifull. The price should come down soon though. Plus if u are at home, instead of killing bateries and your eyes, u can play it on the big screen. Think about it, $69.99 now or a life time of buying batteries, what would be better? I will recomend it.

When it comes to consoles, the only thing I buy that are second-hand are the games. I don't trust second-hand stuff, but I make an exception for games since I beat them quite rapidly.

Just use a mains adapter.
To me, the only thing to gain from a GBA player is the large display, and yes, it does get just a bit pixellated (the Golden Sun battle animation thingies are sprites! :S), but overall still less of a strain on the eyes.
Buy it only if you don't mind the lack of portability.

i'd go to the nearest game store...
check for second-hands...
ask about return policy...
if no returns...
ask them if you can try it on one of their consoles...
if they care enough about sales, they'll do it...

I use one, it's great for use as another Gameboy when you need to do a link-up. I've had to hook my GBA SP to it several times to get my E-reader to unlock things in Super Mario Advance 4.
