the baddest thing happened to me
my memory card got corrupted i lost everything except for my main character who happened to be on my freinds memory card luckily...
has any one had a unlucky turnout like this and still walk away with one of there characters
cass = lvl 125 ramarl- luckily saved
fox = lvl 48 humar-corrupted and lost
kelly = lvl 112 fomarl-corrupted and lost
freinds charcters
darth vader = lvl 132 fomar
Daz = lvl 133 humar

Well, i realised something was up with my old 4gamers mem card wen it stopped being able to find the same version of my char to save onto at the end of each game. i killed vhard falz 3 times with my hucast to get it to save. so, hastily i traded everything of importance i had onto another card, sure as anything, next online game i played, i corrupted. but, at least i still had all my mags and rares! well, i play offline now, on an official card!

i feel like hunting downall the unoffical mem cards and burning because they really are annoying

not hard to get a proper mem card, but is quite annoying that u cant move the pso file.

That would let millions of people dupe, unless only the character was transferred, then u cud transfer items manually... But still, most games dont corrupt anywhere near as often as pso, id say the game has the problem, not the card.

do people who go online get corrupted more then people offline. i dont want to go on and then lose alot of items due to corruption

Basically, yes. Because of FSOD X mainly, i think thats wha its called. An FSOD that hits during an online form of saving twice, or, the double save.

i dont want to get online now. too many ways to get screwed. Just one corruption and all my 350+ hours would fall down the drain. not something high on my to do list

Ah corruption. Very common, and even more preventable. I have not had the luxury of keeping any of my characters that have been deleted though. Although that's only been 2 I think.

Sucks. Another way to say FSOD-X is BSOD. (Black Screen Of Death)
Sorry to hear it. Next time this happens try deleting the guild crd file. I heard 60% of the time it saves your game!
