my memory card corrupted and i lost my level 136 character along with my prized Rika's claw and egg blaster. i used the level 146 code to get back to where i was. i was also proud of my aura field and now i have to settle for a crappy virus wear:lafuteria.

I have no problem at all with cheating to restore anything lost. Many say "But you still have an unfair advantage over those who do lose items and have to get them back legit!"

1.) They dont have to, they just do, (ok so i get items back legit as well but thats besides my point )

2.) Glitches werent designed into the game to make us lose items, its unfar that some legit people never lose anything and that some do, so it can be justified as restoration if youre a 'balance nut'.

From what I have seen the only difference at that high of a level is just the experience it took to get there. If he spent that much time getting a 136, he might just have easily gotten a 146. Personally seeing as how I have corrupted a few times myself, I see nothing wrong with it.

in the case where you corrupt, i suppose its okay to use an AR to get your stuff back, but only if you don't go adding extra stuff (like 10 levels and a virus wear). if you have to hack to get back stuff you lost, you should hack it back with either equal to or less than what you had before.

if you hack to get stuff that you're to lazy to get, or because you want 1000% on all areas on all your weapons, or level gazillion mags, that's not right in any way shape or form.

yeah, but everyone legit knows how painfully frustrating it is to work your way back up to your pre-corruption level and items, etc. especially when you could be corrupted again. it's still considered cheating by some to AR your levels and stuff, but at the least it's not harming any of us, at least not directly so I say let those people do what they want, and we'll do it our own way (legitly).

Phantom, cheating is cheating, but is hacking to get where you were cheating in itself? I dont think so.

Personally, if I ever get online I will get online with a different memory card. One that is 1st Party and does not have my main character on it. I would then use my other card only in case of dire need to do a quest. Yes I agree that if you do not use the AR to make yourself invincible than I could care less. But if you use it to lets say make yourself level 200 when you know you were just 21, than that is wrong.

I also could care less if someone gave me a hacked Dark Flow with low percents. I mean it is not possible to get and that does not make any sense. Also since it is only a step up from TJS why not put it in anyway?
