Fav Seasons
#1
What is your fav season? Summer, Winter, Fall, or Spring? What is you least fav season?

I hate Spring, to damn wet from the snow melting, the bugs can carry you away at times as well, though they don't bother me so much as my friends. You just have to know how to deal with them.

I like winter, but my fav will alway be Fall. Normally warm enough to wear Ts, but cool enough I'm not sweating to death. That is also hunting season as well so W00T to fall.

Favorite Seasons

Summer: Ah, the good ol' summer. What's not to like? The air is fresh, the conditions for biking and basketball: superb (for the most part). Thunderstorms tickle my fancy during this time of year, but only occasionally. If they occur too often it just bugs me. I can go for nice moonlit walks at night and view the stars. Also, of course no school, so what could be better?

Spring (beginning today!!): The smell of summer approaching. The Canada Geese are returning from their long trek down south. Sure, lots of slush and very wet, but it still owns. The weather is becoming warm, but there is still a slight chilly breeze from the departing Winter. There's also Easter and Good Friday, a spiritual time for individuals who share my faith. So nice..

Least Favorite Seasons

Winter: Don't get me wrong, winter is a fine season. There's Christmas, the most holy day on my calendar, besides others like Easter. However, the air is so cold, and the snowy conditions and ROAD CONDITIONS, I might add, are pooey. Snowball fights are joyous, but there are just some aspects that really rub me the wrong way.

Autumn: The bitter cold that often arises here really astounds me; and not in a good way. The overcast days with such bitter cold angers me, especially since school is starting around this time as well. What else can be said? Tongue

They are all the same to me in the departement of favourism and each offers their own unique qualities that make them enjoyable Tongue. Therefore, I have no favourite season ^_^.

edit: I'll explain why I like each Tongue.

Spring: The flowers bloom during this time. I like Cherry Blossums particularly but they are all rather nice in their own way. Also, lots of song birds etc.

Summer: Huge Electrical Storms, warms weather and the nice feeling of the hot sun (wow, I would add skin cancer but then thats not a good thing Tongue).

Fall: I don't know much to say about fall. I get to go back to school which gives me something to do because the end of the summer begins to get dismal. Fall is a great time for photography when the leaves are just about to fall.

Winter: What else? Snow! (sometimes Tongue). Winter is cold, and perfect to conditioning resistance to the elements Wink. Snow falling from the sky also allows for some interesting photographic shots.

Just curious but isn't this scrapping the bottom of the barrel in terms of "Your favourite..." kinda topic? =/

Mah, probably Decs. Just board though. And I am sure someone can come up with something even lower.

Ya fine the road conditions suck, thats why we have snowdays remember? I myself drive to college so on days like that, I just don't go.

Summer is my fav., because I get out of school and it's nice outside! Have a lot of wind and it's my fav. kind of day!
I loathe however automn!!! Raking leaves is just too much for me, too boring, and the next two days you have to do it all over again! Sad

Winter. Snow at night is so beauitiful, especially if you're ontop of a mountain with a forest below and snow falling gently from above. Aaaah so peaceful ^_^

Least fav - Summer: I hate it! I hate the heat!

I agree with Ria. I sweat even in winter -_-. I very nearly suffered from heat stroke when I was in Japan at the end of it's summer/autumn. I was drinking tons of water and my back was dripping :S. I much prefer the cold. Besides, there is nothing more beautiful than seeing a snowscape on a mountain/forest. It makes the world look a whole lot better Smile.
