Yes it's another question from me, what can I say I'm usually only aloud to play video games on the weekend so I dont get far fast. Anyways back to my question. Is the only way to be able to skip previously beaten levels on multiplayer by beating them on one player first?

You will need to go over any levels you beat in multiplayer, in single player to unlock the next level. (ex: You have Caves unlocked in single, then in multi, you beat Caves and Mines, in single you will need to beat them again.)

But as Lostthought said, you can skip difficulties in multiplayer if you are the right level (but you'd only be able to play in Forest or Temple at first).
Too legit to quit.

I think it works much better that way becuase by the time you do single player you destroy them like rats!!!

All true, even if all party members have beaten falz on normal mode on multiplayer unless you are level 20 you cannot access multi player hard mode, which kinda sucks.

Thats online... offline you HAVE to beat the game all the way through in normal, regardless of level, to be able to unlock Hard mode. Not sure about mltiplayer, but thats the way it works in single player.

And as many others have said, you can only go to the caves in multiplayer/single player (For example) if you have beaten the forest on single player.

Online however, you can enter other difficulties even if you havent got that far in the offline story mode depending on your level, but you can still only play in the levels you've got to in the offline single player, or however far the person who created the game has got through the game.

Multiplayer of any kind, offline or online, requires a level not a boss to be defeated. I would have thought you would have known that Lee Tongue
