So, has anyone seen One Piece? Ifr not, it's an anime about a young pirate called Luffy who is trying to gather together a crew to find the legenary treasure 'One Piece' (because the guy left everything he owned in one piece, you see ) and become king of the pirates.
If you live in the UK, it's new on Toonami and I just started watching it - it's good.
If you live in the USA, you might have seen it before anyway.
Anyway, if you have, I want your opinion. I think it's very cool and funny, especially the villains (they are very funny lol). Also, the stlyle is a little different (I think) from other animes.

Ahhhh....One Piece...I haven't had a chance to watch the anime yet, though I think it recently started airing here in the US...I couldn't really get into the manga though, unfortunately. The storyline was hard to follow at points, but perhaps the anime is different. Gonna try to catch it sometime and give the anime a chance at least...

I was watching it last night while posting here. I thought the manga was pretty good, so I'm seeing if the anime lives up to it. I think Luffy's voice is a bit off, but....

I'd advise you to watch it- it's cool.
And the voices are a LITTLE weird, but you get used to them.

Well, it's hard to get used to them when I can only watch it for an hour every Saturday, as that's when Cartoon Network plays it.

I like One Piece but like you guys said the voices are kinda off...so far its a good cartoon...hopefully it'll get better....

I read the manga, but I can't stand how they butchered the anime for the american release. ...Sigh....they did a similar thing for Gundam Seed....but at least they were aiming for a "kiddie" audience with One Piece....
