This will be the base of how you should conduct yourselves elsewhere, additions will no doubt be made and I gladly take opinions on improvement. I dont want restrictions, most of these are just ideals to be kept in mind and common sense guidelines.
1. Don't argue with staff unless you know for a fact that you are fighting for a good cause, if you can convince your fellow members and Legioniare's of your motives then we will always jump in the fray for you.
2. Argueing doesn't consent to flamming, know always that if you get carried away and some posts are seen in that light that an apology will always fix things. Just do it promptly and sincerly, if problems arise afterwards then lets us know, we will do what we can to clear your name.
3. Don't fight alone unless there is a reason, don't martyr yourself. Many of us have attempted that road and there is no reason to follow it, we are all still here and so shall you remain.
4. Have respect for everyone, even the new ones at the forums. It has been said that "Thou shalt be patient with the newbies for they are the future of the forums" and its true. Respect doesn't mean you always have to be nice, but it does mean that if you are wrong then apologize; if you think saying something may seem disrespectful then dont post it. It's hard to be disrespectful, but its even harder to fix the damage you can do if it happens.
5. Never run, if you are going down in flames then just back down, don't turn tail and run.
6. Spam.. well... everyone has to let some spam out here and there, there are rules on Ragol(a bit tighter than I'd like to say but.. *shrugs*) thus if you want to just talk about stuff then do it on Inferno Legions or in our forum here, at least that way you have ground to stand on if they want to argue that fact. Keep in mind that spam is going off topic, if you are caught double posting continuously, posting absolute nonsense, or posting without contributing(ex. er... ok...) then expect to hear from me or one of the other co-leaders.
7. Set the example, if you see that the topic is going in a bad direction, dont say "topic please"(that's the mod's job) just post something that is on topic and ask a question, if it doesnt fix it then at least you tried.
8. Don't be afraid to use the staff, they are here to serve you, if you have a problem with a post, deletion/editing of a post/thread, or comment made by another member then tell them. Let me catch the staff saying "It's not my problem" I'll rip them a new one for not doing their job.
