Powers of 2
#1
Have any of you ever noticed the use of the 2^# in PSO? Just look at the dropcharts.... There are powers of 2, or numbers close to them, littered all over it. Do you think that this may have something to do with the whole binary system and how it counts using the powers of 2? (That's what I'm guessing.)

Powers of 2:
1
2
4
8
16
32
64
128
256
512
1024
2048
4096
8192
16,348
32,768
65,536
131,072
262,144
......

Most of us are familiar with powers of two, but powers of 9? [Image: confused.gif]
Not that many drop probablilities are based on powers of two, only a few. Tongue

Uhhh if you need help, sure. I'm currently taking Geometry as a Freshman, so if your in Calculus or something, I won't be of any help. For some reason I can just recognize squares and roots of numbers easily.... It's probably because my textbook uses the same ones over and over. The Psycho Wand and Punisher rates are like 1/299,000

Powers of 9:
1
9
81
729
6561
59049
...... (needed a calculator to do that Tongue )

It doesn't seem to be that there are alot of those, if any.....

Zeek, the powers of a number is if you take that number and multiply it by itself. 2^1 = 2; 2^2 = 2x2 = 4; 2^3 = 2x2x2 = 8; 2^4 = 2x2x2x2 = 16.... etc.
