Ok, so I was at school yesterday when I noticed a fire bell was wobbly, so I wanted to see whether I could take it off. I could, and I put it in by bag. Later on, a teacher saw me putting it back and I got in trouble for it. I'm getting 2 weeks of break and lunch breaks taken away from me, plus a three hour detention (That's like 16.3 hours of free time!). Also, my dad had a go at me and -_-;; I'm just not in a good mood really. It's not like people would die if there happened to be a fire anyway, there's another bell right near it, and it's not like I stopped it from functioning. One more thing and I'm expelled as well apparently.

Whoa man, that is a pile of rappy sh*t, thats why i hate teachers.
You ask for a pencil and most of them go, "BRING YOUR OWN!"
just be cool and gnaw on something to cure anger. It works. Trust me.

i got 1 weeks detention for having a compass (the pointy kind) with me once. I was going trough my pencil case looking for my pen and the teacher comes over and starts shouting about me scratching tables. I just sat there with a WTF expression on

LOL, Judgy.
Did you tell them that it was wobbly, Faulkie? You probably should have just told someone though. Sorry to hear it. =/

Yeeesh, some people take things to extreme. I agree with DE, you probably should have told someone, but in my opinion, they overreacted....doom...

kinda reminds me of when me and my friends were having fun. we would get in trouble for the most stupid reasons.
i started something wiht stickers. i would go up to random people in the school(including teachers) and slap their back with a sticker in my hand, saying something like happy birthday or too bad for your english grade, ect. just to distract them from me putting stickers on them.( it was hard not to notice the stickers cuz i put like 20 stickers on just about everyone in the school).
anyway the teachers found out it was us. and they said if they find anymore stickers on anyones back, we'll get points(bad things that go on our pernament records) :S WTF just for stickers? :S
oh i got plenty more stupid things where that came from but it would take like two pages to write them all.

Heh, reminds me of this time when I was in a Politics class and we were in the computer room. It had been break before and me and a friend had bottles of spring water.
So, one of the ICT staff (a computer technician who nobody particularly likes, basically because he is a nasty piece of work who loves power-tripping) told me and my friend to get out. We protested, but he was having none of it. The teacher couldn't really do anything - she knew we had the bottles and didn't mind, but she didn't think she could overrule the technician.
It turns out, apparently she could have kept us in and sanctioned us herself (though she wouldn't have punished us, the whole thing was a petty ego-trip for said technician) and apparently the technician 'didn't know this' (yeah, right). We were sent out anyway and we went down to the library, where I talked to the librarian. I didn't know it, but he was part of the ICT steering group for the school and they had the power to punish the technician. I'm not sure what happened, but I believe he received a verbal reprimand and a warning not to do something like that again.
I'm just glad I didn't get detentions or anything, but since I was a sixth-former when it happened that was unlikely anyway.

That sucks man. I don't think that they really had grounds to expel you anyway. I mean the d*** thing was wobbly to begin with meaning it probably wouldn't function that well and if you pulled it down it wouldn't make that much of a difference anyway. I mean the alarms are one every ten feet anyways. Sorry to hear about that.
Same sort of thing happened to my friend. He brought a pencil to class and was flipping it around in his hand and so the teacher got annoyed and confiscated it. Of course, this was his only pencil and so when the teacher told everyone to get out a pencil he didn't have one. So the teacher sent him to the Dean's because he wasn't prepared for class and he got detention for mouthing off to the teacher apparently (he said that she took his pencil and so it was no wonder why he didn't have one).

No offense, but why would you take it off, and then put it in your bag? I woulda just left it but that is just me. Perhaps like others said, you should have told someone about it. You mean't well, but sometimes, people jump the gun.
