Did I meet a white hat?

I just went online and dropped all my overstock. Think I met a White hat. Anyhow, he gave me free stuff. Gave away the obviously hacked/duped {super high stat weapons}, I like the stuff and wanna play mostly legit,{come to terms with impossible to trade and stay legit} so i will list what I am unsure of so I can get rid of stuff I shouldn't have. YU_GI_OH CARDS + 150in that red color, Renegade swords + 181 with no stats %, Red Ring, Tripolic Shield, and Sacred Cloth. I could find nothing on ragol.uk to help to see if stats are maxed. Any feedback would be great, as I won't use them (or that carc) till I know. Thx for help. Laziness :beard: p.s. If S-rank weapons are in red I think I figured out my own question----- sorry for rambling/asking too many questions w/o researching first. If answer is yes I will delete thread.

You can guess that most of that stuff is hacked, although Iàm not an authority, so I'd wait for someone like Kefka to come along.

All those except Red Ring are findable, but those are hacked without a doubt.

S-Rank weapons have red lettering, yeah, example:

So if I keep the stuff is that considered cheating? I've read stickies but dont quite understand. Only things he gave me that I like do not have maxed stats. Spirit Garment, regen gear adv. etc. I have alot of reading to do hehe. I asked if stuff was hacked he said some is, some isn't. {I like my secret gears better really though } so only stuff without maxed stats will be considered not hacked? can't find info on the sacred cloth to tell stats though. Thx for responses btw Laziness :beard: p.s. I play xbox nights and plan on giving away the known hacks tonight---- wish I had more time on my hands to get my own S- ranks too hehe

How do you become a staff member btw? Is it sumthin you do for free or do you get paid? If you do it for free or not I give you my humble gratitude, I love this site.I am like 30 and just found out may not be able to weld need some direction in my life hehe. Would like to get into video games as is my favorite hobby. Wouldn't even know where to start (schoolwise).

Doesnt matter if they have maxed stats in this case because someone gave them to you and most of them time free gifts mean hacks. More than likely people will call them hacks as alot of those things are most likely hacked.

Also, just because someone gives you items doesn't mean that they're a hacker. White Hat typically refers to those hackers who try to counter the efforts of Black Hat hackers and/or give back to the community somehow. Either way, they have to have some hacking ability... and a lot of people posess hacked items without actually being hackers. You met an illegit, but probably not a hacker.

The Sacred Cloth and Tripolic Shield are the only ones on there that might be traded away, possibly... but when given away alongside probably hacked S-Ranks and an obviously hacked Red Ring, you can safely assume they're hacks/dupes as well. Yes, it is impossible to guarantee legitimacy of a traded item unless you saw it drop and traded for it on the spot... but that's no reason to use obvious hacks.

Dedication, and responsible behaviour on the forums. But right now no staff members are needed.
