It would be a useful military weapon though. If one could create say, a photon bomb that has the same range as the explosion on Pioneer 1. It wiped out all the people, but didn't damage any buildings or landmarks.
That would be a very fun weapon. . . if you hated people.Tongue

It would help with wars though, and taking over enemy resources. . . war.:S
There's no such thing as a weapon that doesn't kill.
Any weapon for any purpose is created for the sole purpose of killing.
. . . yea. Why do we have to kill everyone?
Plenty of weapons that weren't intended for killing humans, though.

Trees, deer, yeah, but not humans.

...Except for the sword.
Still, they were created to cause harm upon something else.
hmmm. Grass. I don't know how it's a weapon, but you can make anything a weapon. It is pretty sad actually. Photons would be hard to turn into a weapon, like the weapons in PSO. How would they stay in that area?:S
I have a much better question, and a lingering one at that: Why is thread still open? We have gone so far off-topic, and the basic question to this thread has been answered a hundred-fold.
Well I don't know?! Kidding. Well, in the game, photons are used as weapons, so we are talking about weapons. . . yet we should be on topic again.
