Anyone know about mythology?

Me know: a little Norse, Greek, Roman (they are the same), and Egyptian!

This is a thread mainly to entertain with myths.

Does the bible count? Other than that I only know a few bits and pieces of Greek mythology.

Bible counts, but it offends me. Anyone know about the almighty hydra?

Isn't the hydra the 6 headed dragon that Hercules slayed? Mythology is cool.

Actually, the hydra could have millions of heads. After it was slain, Hurcules dipped his arrows in the toxic blood, so he could slay many monsters. The ironic thing is that he dies from one of the arrows. . . I think.

I like Norse mythology, but only because certain games I liked are based on it (e.g. Tales of and Ragnarok Online).

A lot of the MAGs are named after stuff from mythology. It got me interested and I even went to read up a bit more about the names those MAGs etc. are named after.

Excellent! Yes AOM is a good game. I don't like the leviathan though. It doesn't look like the real one. . . the leviathan is in the Bible. . .:S
