What if Kireek's rival was someone who looked like Ash. Then while he was malfuctioning mistaken Ash for that rival.
Hmm... I dont think Bernie would fit the title of Kireeks' rival all that well. Bernie seams to be more like a Dictective or Privete Investigator type of person. I admit Bernie can fight but not as good as Kireek, no the title of "rival" should go to someone else.
And also it's his rival on Pioner 1, which lowers the amount of people it could be.
So it's most likely that his rival is Heacliff Flowen or Red Ring Rico if I'm not mistaken.
